Looking better by the day, news ever closer :-) 85p looks to be solid support now and when the shorts start closing this will accelerate north. You have to be in to win, as always please DYOR.

And the upward trend continues.... MXP looking far healthier these last few days. Next good update could see these back over 1 without any difficulty - and hopefully a lot more as well.

The increased trading over the last week continued today, with 7.5m shares changing hands. The result SP on years high to 99.5p, suggests news on the horizon?

And we now look to have cleared 1 again. MXP now looks very strong ahead of the next reserves and operations update. If it is as positive as I anticipate, then we could see the a sharp move north. Good times are around the corner.

Touched 1.10 today in strong trading. Good volume increases have accompanied the price rise, so it looks well-founded. We are overdue a drilling update and can also look forward to our reserves estimate update. It won't be too long before we have our own IEC effect.

Lots of comment on the other side--so I'm back in today. I have a feeling news is coming soon and I agree PL we could have another IEC here. No cynic as yet!!!

some nutter (or two) has asked for my comment ....... this is not a share that i have ever followed, but i post below 2 charts, the first being over 3 years and the second for just 6 months (matter of scale) ....... thoroughly agree that sp shows great upward impetus, roaring through 200 dma, but rsi is now o'bought and i reckon there could be a fair amount of resistance at 120 ..... this may be self-fullfilling if, as i suspect, a further bout of heavy profit-taking (leaping for cover) occurs within the next few days ......

Well I'm in for the long haul with this. I've decided to bet the farm on black, so I've cleared out some old dogs in my portfolio and added to MXP.

cynic -read JTCod forecasts on the other side-the number of drills they have is huge starting with lots of easy shallow ones and then some deep giants! It only takes one exciting result to light the blue paper!!

money+ ..... please enlighten me .... what is the logic if any, other than lemming greed, that is supplying the impetus to the current rise? ..... not really interested just to hear that JTCod(piece) reckons it is better than freshly fried chips with mushy peas

A reserves update due out, plus the results of the latest drilling. The SP is also being propelled by new investors coming on board after a couple of road shows and the momentum built up by a breakout after a long down phase..

And the breakout continues. This share has shown considerable strength since it broke out of the downtrend. Positive news will see this fly - and there is plenty to come.

do not have these, but looking at my comments, it good to see that the 120 resistance has been broken ...... if sp holds, then this will then form a solid support

by the way, UMN has similarly broken a stubborn resistance

positive drilling update expected very soon.
