The RNS today has put a rocket on the share price
After the RNS it seems a well undervalued stock, being the market leader.

RNS - 29 April 2015
CAP-XX releases Thinline, the world's thinnest supercapacitors

CAP-XX, a world leader in supercapacitors, announces the launch and commercial availability of its Thinline range of ultra-thin supercapacitors. This new range has been released to address the space-constrained needs of new products developed for the Internet of Things (IoT).

Thinline is designed for use in ultra-thin electronic devices, including wearable devices, such as medical, fitness and health monitors, smart watches, drug delivery systems. Targeting high volume applications, the device has a significantly lower ASP than larger supercapacitors.

CAP-XX Thinline supercapacitors will support pulsed loads from radio frequency modules such as Bluetooth, BTE, Zigbee, Z-Wave(TM) and Ant(TM) and can work with thin film, solid state and coin cell batteries, energy harvesting modules and inductive recharging systems.

Key features of the CAP-XX Thinline series include:

-- Extremely thin, flexible package (0.6mm thick)
-- Best-in-class power density (up to 117kW / litre) and high power output
-- Ultra-low resistance (ESR from 16m ), even at low temperatures
-- Excellent energy storage (up to 0.8Wh / litre)
-- High cell voltages (up to 2.75V continuous)
-- Virtually unlimited charge-discharge cycle life
Typical Applications

-- Peak power for pulsed loads
-- Enable the use of small, low power batteries
-- Extend battery run-time and cycle life
-- Support peak loads such as wireless transmissions, vibration alerts, GPS location
-- Stored energy for low/variable power source
-- Enable the use of ambient energy harvesting modules
-- Enable ultra-quick charging times for portable devices and process equipment
-- Backup power for mission-critical applications
Commenting on the launch, CAP-XX Chief Executive, Anthony Kongats, said

"We are pleased to have launched the Thinline range of supercapacitors, which directly addresses the demands of developers of devices for the "internet of things (IOT)" including wearable devices, such as medical, fitness and health monitors, smart watches, and drug delivery systems."

some profit taking has taken place since but the best should yet to come

the Company worked for over 10 years to get to this point, they have spent a lot of time and money but then they produce an awesome world class product.

The amount achievable may surprise a fair few all with ongoing royalty payments and mind blowing potential.

The new technology can be tested for specialised requirement in different fields

A couple of weeks ago signed a deal with Thales Research Centre in France

FURTHER RETRACEMENT EARLY THIS MORNING BUT SINCE ARE BOUNCING BACK

the lowest was 2.25p with large volume since 10.5M

cynic - 01 May 2015 10:51 - 28 of 215

funnily enough, i've just seen this was mentioned on 29/4 on one of the sensible threads on advfn
major problem is that apparently it only has a cap of £4m, so assuredly untradeable via cfd, and probably not s/b either

what do you make of TSLA?
EM (that one!) seems to be something of a marmite figure, who predicts what sound to be ludicrous numbers but, as far as i can see, generally and eventually lives up to same

mentor - 01 May 2015 11:35 - 33 of 215

What EM said >>>>>>>

"Talking at the Cleantech Forum in San Francisco on Wednesday this week, the 39 year old entrepreneur (Elon Musk) told the assembled audience that he’d bet on supercapacitors, not batteries, to deliver an important breakthrough in electric vehicle range.

Unlike batteries, supercapacitors do not lose the ability to store charge with age. As a consequence they could potentially offer future where electric car owners are not faced with the worry of battery packs wearing out before the car does.

Supercapacitors also have a much higher power density than batteries, meaning they can provide power far more quickly than existing battery technology".

Proposed Placing

The Board of CAP-XX announces that the Company is in discussions regarding undertaking a capital raise by way of a placing of approximately 31 million new ordinary shares at a substantial discount to the Company's current share price but a substantial premium to the price of the Company's last fundraise in March 2015.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

mentor - 05 May 2015 13:12 - 40 of 215

Placing at what price?
I had some spare time so I tried to work out at what price will be

I opted @ 1.75p

reasons:
company said is going to be above "last placing price" .... it was at 1p
substantial discount to the Company's current share price
is going to be 31 million shares

How I work it out:
31M shares at 1.75p = 0.542M raise
500K for the company
42K for the brokers fees to arrange the placing
