Recommended as a sell and maybe buy back in the autumn in Shares Magazine. Seems to be going up nicely on fairly large volumes ahead of interims on Wednesday (18.8.04). Does anybody know much about this company??

I am a little disappointed that IQE isn't out of the 10/11p range by now with the news we had on the 27 Jan 06. Does any body share my view?

should see some movement leading up to results.

Here we go then, up 2.5%.

goal im pretty sure the improving dollar (though still not brill and fears for the future) will help enhance the figures, the effect has been quite dramtic the last couple of years. some analysts still say they wont be back in profit until 2007. but im in, happy and hopeful there will some encouragement in the results.

topped up yesterday after a slight drop in the price, in this for the long term.

IQE still rising in the long term.

final results revenues up 36.1% to 20.890m

losses down from 10 mil to 3 mil, signed new contracts, looking good for this year.

i agree goal, ive been umming and arring about selling, but so glad i didnt. Next year should hopefully show a profit. At long last patience (yet again) is proving to be the key. So glad SH is not around trying to claim all the credit for bringing this one to our attention.

going to play this one by ear capetown, already made one nice profit from the constant up and down movement. IF (and it probably wont) it start to go down again, its more or less guaranteed it will be back up for the interims and finals. Also need to keep an eye the dollar-pound exchange rate.

Kivver i am up 27%.tempted to sell and go back in @around 11.,but i know if i sell it wont go back down again,agree with you,it has had huge volume in trading and i suspect it may fall back slightly,think i will look again on monday and may take a chance on it.

Surprised there's not been more comment on IQE these last two days. Looking very strong at present and plenty more to come I feel.

lol, queen, i have learned a massive amount about the physchi (you know what i mean) of share investors since joining this BB. There is a tremendous amount of interest in shares that go sideways and downwards eg eme, tag, seo, yoo, dmr (im not saying these are bad shares and in TAG myself) what i am saying is the interest is in what they might do or are trying to do. Thats fine, they can carry on i'll keep putting my money into shares like wolfson, kenmare, iqe, alizyme, asos and corus (a few dogs too, bprg and cyh) ill tip them, support them, inform investors about them with very little interest or feedback, looks like ill have to get rich on my own. Are you in these Queen??

I am indeed Kivver, since 8p so looking to double my money if they nudge just a little bit higher. Am in Alizyme & ASOS as well!
