VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field,and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.

It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(�500m+) in the not to distant future.

re - what use best level to get in if no suggestion as to where to get out?

The choice is yours, you do not pay me for my free advise and at the same time I think you are in my BAD book list, but I will do it 9 say it ) for the rest.

Everyone has its own strategies:

Some are happy to get 10% and sell, others a higher % and the ones who like to wait till share price starts dropping and put a stop loss from the high it has reached since buying ( 5 - 10% depends of spread ). All have made profits out of it.

But then there is the investor who puts the certificate under the mattress and does not know at one point the company can have bad news and share price can go down well under the price (he/she bought) and then is panick time unless uses a Stop loss of 10 to 15% from the price of buying, but this is a stop loss resulting in losing money.

Now I think it would be better if you were fresh and drunk ( instead of tired and sober ) maybe then you wouldnt' be such a pain on the ARSE.

MRSI - thanks for giving me a chance to have a good chuckle with you ..... the point you make about taking profits is also very valid, though as you have no doubt seen, i get regularly castigated for suggesting such a thing - apparently that is deramping!

Have no time to look the price exactly but I think it was around 14p, now around (27p high since 23p now) 25p since May 22.

In you live you have not made such a good investment 78.57% in less than 4 month.

Just carry on with the sheep, that is what you are good at, or I forgot and complaint.

Not everyone is able or capable of doing such a thing, I am doing marvellous at the moment, I just not have enough money to invest with all the oportunities that come along every day.

i too must not complain ..... having immolated myself in the past, i have had the discipline at last to take regular profits and put the cash in a "safe" account, well out of sight.

A weaker start on the order book, as it seems some profit taking has been going on, VOG is a very volatile stock this days.
At the moment is back to level but at the lower prices

FTSE and the market in general is down today, but mid cap and small cap much lower on % terms 1% while FTSE only 0.50%

This will not move very much for the next month because all the news is in already, we have just had an RNS : read through it...it will rise when they get near target depth or the siberian seismic is completed but in the meantime...

I think Maestro was referring to 'quadruple witching' this week & therefore a nervous time on the markets.
