cynic - 13 Apr 2010 11:22 - 216 of 3532

please clarify what that means - or does it confirm my view?

TheFrenchConnection - 13 Apr 2010 13:33 - 217 of 3532

i think it shows a growing battle between bulls and bears in a very volatile mkt which is lacking any tangible direction

Fred1new - 13 Apr 2010 17:23 - 218 of 3532

A lot of the charts and indicators seem to tell me they are over bought.

Probably just my choices.

Have closed up stop losses, but looking for shares with sales or income from overseas, ie. states and EU, etc.

Movement in "" might provide rewards for a short while.

Fred1new - 13 Apr 2010 17:25 - 219 of 3532

TFC,

At the moment, what is the price of a litre of diesel at the pump in France?

goldfinger - 14 Apr 2010 10:41 - 220 of 3532

Fred have you had time to check out ADX lower indicator?.

goldfinger - 14 Apr 2010 11:59 - 222 of 3532

yep had this one myself a few weeks back skinny. Starting to look interesting again.

TheFrenchConnection - 14 Apr 2010 12:35 - 223 of 3532

Sorry in delay in answering your question Fred. -was away from pc - .ln general terms Its a tad more expensive than UK . unleaded around 1.38 to 1.42 e/ p/l . Diesel approx 1.04 to 1.07 e/p/l

skinny - 14 Apr 2010 17:06 - 224 of 3532

A rather rewarding defensive and one which has little following here.

Fred1new - 15 Apr 2010 12:23 - 225 of 3532

TFC,

Thanks, not to bad.

I have a diesel guzzler and intend to drive it down to Accolay in Burgundy in July.

Beautiful part, but prefer Sarlat and the surrounds.

But nowadays I am told where I am allowed to go.

Have a good day.

cynic - 15 Apr 2010 12:26 - 226 of 3532

concur with you fred ..... was cycling in that area a couple of years back ..... this year's jaunt will be between angers and tours mainly on "z" roads

Fred1new - 15 Apr 2010 17:56 - 227 of 3532

Cynic,

If you have not been to Ambois, Blois or Orleans they are worth seeing, Beautiful towns and settings.

The Loire valley is beautiful. But on a warm spring or summer day the whole of France seems beautiful.

I have a motor home and when I retired I spent about four and half years wandering around France, Spain and Portugal.

Over half that time was spent n the centre of France, often parked up on a river bank.

One of the happiest periods of my life.

Have a good holiday.

cynic - 15 Apr 2010 19:04 - 228 of 3532

angers to tours on north bank and back on south bank ..... it's about 200 miles and sufficient for a fairly leisurely 5 days leaving time to smell the flowers and see the sites ..... we go over late august bank holiday

goldfinger - 16 Apr 2010 15:30 - 229 of 3532

Nothing like having a bit of Gold in your portfolio when inflation might be about to rear its ugly head.

Not only that but I see precious metals are soaring.

So I had a look at OXUS GOLD oxs and it looks like the charts turning positive. Rather a volatile little devil so be carefull and dyor if you are entering.........

Firstgroup ST: rise towards 398.5
19 Apr 2010 - 08:39

Click here to see our chart:
http://www.tradingcentral.com/chart/FGPGBp100419093807.gif
Our pivot point is at 356.25.
Our preference: rise towards 398.5.
Alternative scenario: below 356.25, expect 342.75 and 335.
Comment: the RSI is below its neutrality area at 50. The MACD is positive and
above its signal line. The break above the 50 area on the RSI would call for
further upside. Moreover, the stock is above its 20 and 50 day MA (standing
respectively at 370.45 and 364.01).
Supports and resistances:
406.5 *
398.5 **
390.25
372.7 last
361.75
356.25 **
342.75 *
