Posted by Dave IR on the iii board.

"Nice piece just now on Meridian Tonight ( ITV ) with Fred Dinenage introducing an item on NOP drilling on the island.

They inverviewed Graham Herd of NOP, who basically said that if they discover recoverable oil, the site would only contain small surface buildings and no oil rig. He mentioned a 'transport system' which I would have thought would be a very short pipe across the Solent to Fawley?

Good to see the drill turning and lots of bods working hard :-)

The coverage/item may appear on the meridian website:
www.meridiantv.co.uk"

Fred Dinage finding out HOW they do it. Great Bloke!

Quoted on Meridian TV News last night that drilling now at 2000ft, which I calculate that the prospected drill depth will be reached on Tuesday next week.
Apparently the whole population of the IoW is waiting in antisipation.

Share re-organisation

Oily Jim - 08 Aug 2005 08:46 - 224 of 567

As pt says it's share re-organisation 1 new share for every 5 old ones.

doughboy66 - 08 Aug 2005 08:49 - 225 of 567

Thats what i want to know Paul ,i know they are having a share consolidation but i didn`t think that came into effect untill September?
DB66

doughboy66 - 08 Aug 2005 09:09 - 226 of 567

Yes it is a share consolidation 1 new share for 5 old shares.
DB66

mbugger - 08 Aug 2005 10:03 - 227 of 567

Consolidation 5/1.

NielsJensen - 08 Aug 2005 10:23 - 228 of 567

They've done a five to one. So multiply the price by 5 and divide your shareholding by 5.

doughboy66 - 08 Aug 2005 10:39 - 229 of 567

What are the benefits of share consolidation?
DB66

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2005 10:51 - 230 of 567

Because there are now less shares in issue, the SP will move more readily on news

doughboy66 - 08 Aug 2005 11:04 - 231 of 567

Thanks Master, well this share hasn`t done to bad so far , so with consolidation it might do even better? I look forward to that.

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2005 13:24 - 233 of 567

Niels
Any news/pictures from the drill site today.

paulmasterson1 - 08 Aug 2005 13:31 - 234 of 567

Hi All,

I saw somewhere that it would take 31 days to drill, but the update last Wednesday suggested to me that they were well ahead of that, anyone else looked at the figures for depth required, and depth attained last wednesday ??

Cheers,
PM

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2005 13:38 - 235 of 567
