Other oil compaies moved so fast recently apart from DGO.
See TLW
DGO should be twice the current price. Oil is $129...

I'm overweight on this one : hope it carries on rising !

ahoj - 21 May 2008 11:10 - 225 of 903

There is a simple equation to solve.

oil supply increase 1% a year, world growth in many countries is 7-12% a year...
Demand is rising faster than supply.

Supply will start to decrease if Saudi's oil reserve diminishes further!!

halifax - 21 May 2008 11:14 - 226 of 903

Dont forget the possibility of an eventual increase in production from Iraq.

ahoj - 21 May 2008 16:08 - 227 of 903

Iraq's production increase is years away.... There is no infrastructure left.

US has no choice but to buy foreign oil companies.

See http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/article/24052/Paulson-Goes-Begging-as-Bernanke's-Dollar-Defense-Comes-Too-Late?tickers=LEH,MER,C,OIL,USO

Hank Paulson's tour of the Middle East has taken on an unseemly quality as the Treasury Secretary has been effectively reduced to begging for both cash and relief from high oil prices.

"We are urging all oil-producing countries to open oil markets to foreign investment, which would support faster and more efficient growth," Paulson said, the WSJ reports.

mbugger - 05 Jun 2008 14:26 - 234 of 903

Some buggers shorting,isuspect.

Sowah - 07 Jun 2008 04:22 - 235 of 903

I'm flabber*&%$?d!! What's happening here? Why are DGO and TLW falling when oil prices keep rising? I thought it would be a temporary pullback, and I cannot find any bad news, so why?

mbugger - 07 Jun 2008 13:05 - 236 of 903

ASK fIDO,RESIDENT EXPERT.

required field - 07 Jun 2008 13:27 - 237 of 903

Well...with oil going ballistic ..you would expect on monday an increase, but things never go as planned, Iran and Israel at logger heads (as so to speak), and if I'm not mistaken DGO's oil is routed through Iran.....so, even though I don't think Israel are going to bomb Iran's nuclear installations in the short term...the Iranians are really looking for trouble !, why the hell don't they just say to the Americans : come and have a look at our nuclear installations, they would even get help and advice from them and a promise from the USA about Iran's safety and position in the world.

hlyeo98 - 07 Jun 2008 16:38 - 238 of 903

I think the Iranians have something to hide, otherwise why are they so defensive.
