Tecnicaly the stock is very solid
in a uptrend channel with lower indicators
pointing to more upside.

Looks the ideal trade set up here so
just taken it after non farm pay
rolls beat in US.

Fundys sound aswel.

Anyone with a 3rd take on the RSI here.

I d be looking at momentum as your main tool now skinny. Looks like 15 is your target on the scale. gotto remember these indicators especially RSI can plateau for a month or two.

Not so straight forward as the trader books make out.

Keep an eye on Momentum and get a ADX indicator as a back up to see strength is still in demand. Go for 20 plus on the scale. some say 25 I think thats a bit much.

LONG on CSR, and TEP this morning. ohh and TNI.

Cleared a few past winners out like GFRD etc.

Need to keep the rotation going in a markket like this ie, not far off market top and pays to go for companys good companys reporting a few days before hand.

Long on KENTZ again:

*Stochs turning up from a very oversold position
*Volume is easing which would suggest the selling is getting less
*MACDs/RSI/ATR suggest there is still further selling to come
*Record breaking results reported 20/01/2012 with year end results for 2011 to be reported 26/03/2012
*200 EMA is 440 which has always provided strong support having bounced off it 3 times over last 9 months
*Oil Equipment Services and Distribution sector which has risen nearly 35%, Kentz appears to be a laggard with a largely flat performance over the same period for no fundamental reason
*Difficulty in obtaining stock via IG Markets--only able to fill 1000 at a time, (NMS is 600) which may suggest order's being filled (not one for that conspiracy BB nonsense but not the easiest to buy!)

Yep Ive got Kentz aswel Kully. Think results are next week hoping we have a good tun up to them.

Skinny, I guess ADVFN and MAM have different smoothing methods for RSI, hence the different appearance. Sharescope has a choice of simple, exponential and Wilder methods as below. I don't know if any of them are "better" but the Wilder smoothing method seems to filter out more of the noise.

Gone long on VOD (zzzzzz some may say!):

*Bullish MACD divergence recorded today
*ATR exhausted suggesting bear's have run out of steam
*Bullish engulfing pattern has emerged today
*Hammer recorded on Thursday suggesting the bottom is in for now
*Lower indicators such as MACD/Stochs/RSI all turning up
*Over the last 6 months has only spent a handful of days under its 200EMA (currently it is so a good buying opp)
*Mobile Telecom's sector has been a laggard this year so far down 8% as investor's chase higher % returns as opposed to the 7% divi on offer here and little growth but a very stable company and with the bid talks going on with Cable&Wireless could provide another wing to an already gigantic company

Just gone long on PTEC, nice chart and low P/E results thursday think they will beat concensus.

on the spreads today @ 300.6 initial target 310.0 stop 289.0.

Chart Breakout and looks like we
have plenty of blue sky before
resistance.

Gone long on AVN again after having been stopped out a couple of times over the last year or so. A definite recovery play and fundies are quite simple---it's a satellite business which provides wireless broadband in hard to reach locations. Currently servicing Europe but Hylas 2 (2nd satellite which has been funded) will be launched servicing Africa and the Middle East over the coming months so hopefully anticipation building. Quick overview on long:

*Double Bottom at 235?
*Stochs/RSI looking up
*Stoch divergence yesterday
*ATR exhausted suggesting bears have run out of steam
*MACD fast line turning up, hopefully to cross over slower line
*Selling volume over last few days appears to have eased (highest vol yday for 6 months)
*Recent director buys and broker forecasts range from 900-2300

Granted it's a shocking chart however risk reward makes up for that and if price dips below recent low suggest taking a small loss.
