THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

jimmy, you mean to say you left that poor girl by the side of the road when it was obvious that she was having car trouble? shame on you!

wilbs - 09 Nov 2005 13:53 - 2213 of 81564

Hi everyone.

Sorry ive not posted before but when I connected my pc back up it diddnt work.
As you can guess im not having a holiday with Bubba. The judge sentenced me to 2 years in prison. My barrister stood up and argued the sentence with him and gave him 5 minutes to change his mind. I ended up with 200 hours community service and 730 fine. Out of the 8 people who went before judge jacobs that day, only one came out and that was me.
I think the petition from the talk to yourself thread croonies done it.

A very very lucky wilbs

Nice one wilbs, must be a big relief . How did your barrister manage that ,after you had been sentenced ?

bosley - 09 Nov 2005 14:29 - 2217 of 81564

well done wilbs.
was this your lawyer?

mickeyskint - 09 Nov 2005 14:34 - 2218 of 81564

That was a close one wilbs. What the hell am I going to do with the cake the missus baked for you. I even went to B & Q to get a new hack saw blade which she put in the cake. As you've got community service you can come and cut my grass and paint the house.

LOL

Cheers.
Thats the man!!!
The judge had been having lunch with the home secetary and came back late, it looks like he only flipped through the papers and sentenced me on what I did. My barrister asked him to look through the case and see why I did it and the curcumstances behind it and it painted a different picture in his head. If I step one foot out of place then im down for a 2 year stretch with bubba and no questions asked.
I will be a good boy from now on.

chocolat - 09 Nov 2005 14:40 - 2220 of 81564

Three cheers for the British justice system.
The board was definitely missing its compliment of neurotic, perverse psychopaths without you, Wilbs.
Boz did his best to fill in but its not quite the same!!

Having said all that, Wilbs. If it was you that nicked my BBQ at the weekend then 2 years isn't nearly enough.
Flogging and hanging is too good for 'em.
