i only know Pal Meat for dogs!
more seriously, i note that both AFC and PAL are MM only stocks, and though they look to be pretty liquid and spread is also sensible, mkt cap on both is small and therefore surely with high volatility likely
PS would rather go for AFC than some palm oil farmers in a seriously flakey and corrupt dictatorship

Have read and reviewed a massive amount of info put out about renewables over the last few months, and there has been a huge amount to wade through. But there is little to no 'news' info out there re Hydrogen or UCG. These are still well below the radar. Due to this I would normally be frustrated, but I look at this lack of general knowledge of these renewable fuel types as good for those of us already invested.
When, not if, this becomes as massive as we holders believe it will, AFC will become a household name. That is when all those institutional investors will be scrambling for a share of the pot.
The sp will then of course climb forever upward. So it is frustrating to see AFC technology being ignored in the short term by the media, but in the long term this ignorance will pay of for those of us who got in at ground level.
With Nov 5th a couple of weeks away, I think the analogy of the firework rocket fits AFC. Sometimes you light them and apart from a splutter and a few sparks nothing happens, then it starts to look a bit more lively, suddenly shooting upward coming to everyones attention.
Well this firework has been well and truly lit. The sparks are starting to fly. The only question now is, 'How high will it go to'.

Glad to have you on board Cynic.....have a read through some of the old rns's when you have a moment and you'll understand what this technology is all about....the market cap could turn into several hundred million pounds when more coal companies sign up to this.

Not yet......later perhaps......at the moment they are probaby looking to sign up more energy companies....the market cap is only 50 million (nothing these days).....with a few more on board ...should be worth 200 million...4 times the market cap today.....good for at least 100p with a few more companies on board....

Highlight from the spending review.
Up to 1bn will be invested to create one of the worlds first commercial-scale carbon capture and storage demonstration plants strengthening the UKs position as a world leader in cleaner fossil fuel technology.
I am surprised this announcement has not already effected the sp, even just a tad.

This bunch of abusive retards is the reason MoneyAM will NEVER have a forum worth reading.
I have reported them to support by they do nothing, either because they want to force me to PAY them for the Traders Room or because they are too lazy to do anything. Maybe the people in support are the ones perpetrating the abuse, so as to force people to pay for the premium boards. Either way the service is sh1te and a disgrace to the finance industry. No wonder there is nobody left here apart from morons.
I will continue posting my good research on boards that are run in accordance with FSA and LSE listing rules and the interests of the market, not here where ar5eh0les rule the boards and all decent research is buried under their piles of sh1te.

Edited for more detail.
There are several posts on several financial sites regarding projected sp of AFC for a couple of years ahead, many of these projections are well above 5.
The big question is how much is pure hype.
As a realist, I always try to look at the pros/cons of everything.
Pro's I can see multiple numbers, too many to list. Also most have been posted before.
Cons, there must be some but for the life of me I can't think of any, well possibly 2 that are very low risk.
1 There could always be a competitor out there, but if there is they are years behind AFC, or they are hiding like a secret squirrel.
2 An alternative magic pill of producing power which could surpass all others, could come along, but again that would be years ahead.
So not going to grab any figures out of the air re sp by 2010 and onward.
The biggest problem I have with AFC is trying to keep feet firmly on the ground whilst keeping my head out of the clouds.
It's bloody difficult. Tie me down somebody.
