not at all ..... a profit is a profit, but only when it is in the bank ...... fogl has a far better prospect that bor and, if i am not much mistaken, considerably more cash for drilling ..... on the other hand, if bor do fluke it, then all fi stocks will benefit, including rkh which i do hold

Darwin actually has a very good chance of success, higher than RKH's Sea Lion prospect.
This is because Darwin has a "flat spot" which indicates a place where 2 different fluids or gas meet.
A flat spot is like the Holy Grail in wildcat exploration, which is why I have money in BOR and hope for a good result.

If it does come right : it could be spectacular and I mean spectacular with the sp jumping by pounds....so it's a risk but the rewards might be astronomical...I doubt it but it is possible so as I'm a bit of an oil risk taker : I'm in...so it should get interesting....soon so,....it's either the moon or I shall have to put a pillow over my head and go back to listening to Tifany......

Looking forward to Monday 9th April.
All those that sold on the 6th March for their 30 days CGT can all buy back from Monday 9th April (so Tue 10th). AIM market should be strong next week, at a guess ;)

I think he will need more than 'a few more straws' to get anything out of this BORehole

'might', 'just' and 'lucky' don't appear too attractive to me - good luck for those who are running this long.
I'll sit on my hands (and wallet) for some solid news. Like Cynic I'm happy for my major holding in RKH to bathe in the reflected glory of whatever the outcome may be.

You're not far off the mark!
Because I never got sent off for an 'early bath' it resulted in me climbing into a slightly muddy, steaming pond with the rest of the team - and trying to avoid treading on the bar of carbolic soap.
My investment strategy goes along the same lines and, touch wood, has kept me pleasantly safe to date!
As for cold baths, I shall spend the rest of this week in thermals chest-deep in the Spey trying to avoid one of those as well.

better chance to catch a 20lb early spring run salmon that bor hitting the jackpot .... trust the spey still only allows proper fly (suppose wet flies just about qualify) fishing ..... failing that, a stick of gelignite!
