BLINX and you've missed it, the next google multi bagger!!! (BLNX)

Still Waiting - 25 Jul 2008 23:22

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=BLNX&S

With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

Alexa rankings confirm the continued growth in usage as its viral effect spreads:-

The ITN RNS confirms blnx is the best in the market and is growing fast:-

Leading News Organization ITN Extends Advertising Deal with blinkx Based on Proven Campaign Success

blinkx Selected to Power Advertising across ITN Website and Syndication Partner Sites

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - July 2, 2008 - blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced that it has won an extension contract that will augment the scope of its advertising partnership with ITN, one of the world's leading news and multimedia content companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, ITN will use AdHoc, blinkx's patented contextual advertising platform for online TV and video, to serve advertisements on the ITN website and its syndication partner sites, including Bebo.

Through AdHoc, ITN has already been effectively monetizing its premium news content on the blinkx.com network for over six months. During this time, ITN achieved a significantly better return, greater search volume, and higher monetization through blinkx than through other syndication partners.

AdHoc uses blinkx's patented speech-to-text transcription and visual analysis technology to understand video content more thoroughly and effectively than any other service today, and can therefore dynamically place the most pertinent advertising against it. The AdHoc platform offers media companies and advertisers a unique value proposition -- video advertising which combines the emotive power of TV promotion, with the relevance and utility of contextual search advertising.

The confluence of ITN's premium TV content, blinkx's extensive syndication network, and AdHoc's uniquely powerful targeting capabilities was a formula for success. By extending its partnership with blinkx, ITN aims to achieve similar returns by leveraging the AdHoc platform to deliver contextually relevant video advertising on its own website and across its distribution partner sites.

'We're thrilled to be broadening our relationship with ITN,' said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. 'News content is one of the most popular categories of online video and there's clearly a tremendous opportunity for monetization. The success of our partnership with ITN is evidence that the blinkx AdHoc platform is a uniquely powerful solution for online video advertising today.'

'We've been delighted with the results of our partnership with blinkx and are looking forward to implementing the AdHoc technology on our site,' said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director, ITN On. 'blinkx AdHoc has proven that it can achieve significant monetization of our content, effective marketing for advertisers and, most importantly, a useful, non-disruptive experience for our audience.'

As a pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the most effective way to search new forms of online content such as video. With more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content, including favorite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs and more, blinkx uses advanced speech recognition technology to deliver results that are more accurate and reliable than standard metadata-based keyword searches.

'I can honestly say that I have never to my knowledge been abusive to any posters'

I did say I wouldn't post on this thread again, but this is an absolutely priceless quote that I couldn't ignore. As Mike states there are many, many examples of such, I feel particularly sympathetic towards JKD who to the best of MY knowledge has never insulted anyone on this board but for some reason has attracted Tabasco's condescending, arrogant insults. Hey ho back to BLNX.

Looks like the shorters may be correct and a DT was formed, although yet to be convinced. Perhaps I need to take my head out of the sand? I did think there was a little more upside but 55p will answer the question.

Gausie - 14 Aug 2010 10:26 - 2221 of 6187

Tabs - None of us wants to go searching through old posts on your say so. We've better things to do.

Are you in denial? Clearly Bullshare thinks you have posted plenty of abuse - and ultimately MAM's decision is final.

If you don't believe you've posted abuse pertaining to my family, to JKD, to MAM management and to many others then I'm afraid you'll never be capable of mending your ways. It can only be a matter of time, in my opinion, before you're shown the door.

Bullshare's been kind enough to take the time to post up the feelings of MAM and appears to be offering you the opportunity to mend your ways. He's not obliged to use (waste?) his time in this way, and perhaps you could be grateful that he has explained the problem and gone on to offer you another chance. Ignore what he's saying at your risk.

hilary - 14 Aug 2010 10:38 - 2222 of 6187

Tabster,

Please don't pretend to be the victim here. You've been insulting Gausie (and anybody else who has dared to offer an opposing view to your own) in all the time I've been reading your posts.

Throughout that time, you've been ramping some dog stock (Meldex) that's either finally now gone t!ts up or is on the verge of doing so, yet you persist with your pathetic assertion that you are "a lucky thicko" who is always right.

If you are serious about repairing the damage you've done, you'll accept the fact that you're not always right and start to show a bit of humility and tolerance towards others who might have a differing opinion to your own. Given time, you might then start to become accepted. If you can't manage that, then the baiting will no doubt continue.

And another thing. People here really don't care about how much money you've got or have made from this stock or the other.

Cyners ...I'll give you one..........yellow card that is..,. Am i being abusive....hell!!

Well here at MAM we do have some tools to search through individuals post. All I can say is neither Tabasco nor Gausie plus others are whiter than white, lets call it a score draw and move on.

Lets get back on subject , just how good or crap is Blinx ?

Bullshare

All I can say is neither Tabasco nor Gausie plus others are whiter than white - How dare you? That's scurrilous! I'd sue if only it weren't true.

clubby - if you are back here by hook or by crook, then for goodness sake behave yourself and force yourself not to post when you're ratarsed!

bullshare - please be kind and earn some brownie points!

Haystack - 14 Aug 2010 18:57 - 2230 of 6187

Bullshare is always kind.

In fact at certain times of the year he is often mistaken for Father Christmas!

This thread reminds of a song from the WHO

jkd - 14 Aug 2010 20:29 - 2233 of 6187

i'm still not convinced by all this. i said it about Scotty so i will now put in my pennyworth and say the same regarding Clubman 3509, everyone deserves a second chance. i didnt say it about MRSI but he also got a second chance and hasnt blown it,unlike scotty, who did.
so what happened to Clubman 3509? is he still exiled? or is he starting with a clean slate under a new handle? just curious.
the other thing about this is a possible precedent or two? i.e. t has had a warning but may feel he can continue in the same manner until he gets banned knowing he will be reinstated a week later. i do hope this is not in his mind.
regards to all
jkd
edit i have now had time to think about this. it is in fact more than curiosity.it is about a need to know where i and all other readers stand on this.i am happy to let bygones be bygones just so long as i know where the new starting line begins.
Bullshare, would you please be so kind as to confirm and clarify this matter for us?
thank you

If posters went to the ADVFN BLINX thread it might become more clearer [ or not ] when you read Cluman's post on there and on here.

Bullshare - 15 Aug 2010 09:04 - 2236 of 6187

jkd: I can assure you Clubman will not be returning to MAM with our blessing under any circumstance.

Surely this topic of clubman is dead and buried so lets get you all on topic which oddly enough is BLINX. I have never traded it, but I know our journalists in Shares have been big fans of it and tipped it in the past.

It looks like one of those stocks which will rise or fall very quickly on any bid or new product tittle tattle, reminds me of the dot.com boom and bust years of 2000. If you like it and own it, it will be a roller coaster, if you trade it long/short I am sure there is money to be made both ways.

no investment advice intended, DYOR etc etc.
