Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

not really at all actually .... even if, and by golly that is a huge if, they find indications of commercial oil and then some time down the road, these mere indications are borne out, you are still several years and HUGE stacks of money to get the stuff out and flowing

now try some reality and read the comments on the TLW thread extracted from their results about what is commercial volume and how long it takes to bring on flow - and that is from a relatively simple location.

I nearly fell off my own chair reading all this banter!

I remember getting somewhat overexcited by RKH about a year ago and realise now that there is certainly a long lag-time between 'starting to drill' and making 'a [proven] discovery' - let alone getting the stuff to the surface... Meanwhile, I have grown significantly older if not wiser.
