Thanks for that but I thought the pipes should be in place by now, so I take it we are waiting for the license. Wouldn't you think the license should have been granted before the pipes were laid or have I got it wrong? I probably have knowing me!!

Victoria Oil & Gas plc narrowed its pre-tax loss for the six months to 30th November to $0.83m from $4.47m.
The company said it believed the award of an exploitation decree for its flagship Logbaba Gas Field, Cameroon, was imminent. Once the decree had been issued, it expected to deliver first gas sales within five months.
In November, it completed a fundraising of 10.8m in new equity, which it said underpinned its transformation to a producing and cash-generating company.
A delay in getting the exploitation decree was 'minor in the overall context of this project', said chairman Kevin Foo.
'Logbaba has aroused much interest in Cameroon. Over the last three months, Rodeo Development Limited, our subsidiary company in Cameroon has participated in many fact-finding meetings and discussions with government, the Office of the President and industrial customers.
'In addition, we have had many community meetings and consultations with local chiefs and civic leaders. We are respecting these procedures and the response has been universally positive.'
Administrative expenses in the period fell to $2.05m from $3.16m. Foreign exchange gains were $1.56m against a previous $0.47m loss.
Operating loss was $0.49m, down from $3.63m.

What has happened to West Med I had VOG a few years ago when they announced the find at west med and sold out at around 2 a share massive profit at the time for me.
Bought back in 500k @4.75 still holding, cameroon good but west med seems forgotten
I thought west med was the big one.
Any thoughts?

ouch! ......
few would follow my recommendations as i openly admit that id do no research, preferring to leave that to those who enjoy doing such things
however, if you want to stay with oilies then i hold the following ...
AFR, COV, EO., GKP, HOIL, MXP, PMO, RRL, TLW and XEL
some are currently in the money, some not
it could easily be argued that my portfolio is disproportionately weighted with oilies

Thanks cynic,I thought back in late 2008 to late 2009 it was me who was a clever arse and I turned 200k into 450k dealing in some of the stocks you mention.
Since then I have just found it hard work whereas I make afew quid then give it back in the next deals. It is like borrowed money.
I am just thinking that I am wasting my time,do you think people make any money dealing or just kid themselves.
I was dealing long no shorting but over short periods ie 1 month periods
