JKX is probably to do with the troubles in the Ukraine.
Did I see someone was waiting for SEY to hit 15 before buying? Now possible?

I'm fully invested other wise I would be topping up. Anyone want to but a T Sport.

crockham you have solved the JKX thing, thanks.

Circle Oil have pulled of a good move, appointed a director alleged to work in the Iraqi Oil Ministry!

If so, Clever!!

mickeyskint - 01 Dec 2004 15:06 - 2289 of 7811

David Mellor's too old to play, besides his dick get's in the way.

Crude oil only please - no greasy puddles!

mickeyskint - 01 Dec 2004 15:11 - 2292 of 7811

Anyone seen the spread on FKL. Someone's having a laugh.

proptrade - 01 Dec 2004 15:15 - 2293 of 7811

SWW, i reread your earlier spiel and noticed that we are obviously thinking along the same lines.

15 is possible with all the kneejerk reactions in the rest of the sector, but i doubt it.

and now for something completely different.....

ode to SEY

there once was a stock called SEY
that was easier and noone knew why
i bought a few more and then added again
and then they were a quid.

better an investor than a poet! (hopefully)

it is not you Prop, it's the others!

namreh3 - 01 Dec 2004 15:18 - 2295 of 7811

HNR ouch!

seawallwalker - 01 Dec 2004 15:20 - 2296 of 7811

Nice one prop!

Mee too, (mad) or is it tipsy1

mickeyskint - 01 Dec 2004 15:23 - 2297 of 7811

Wouldn't be surprised if HNR hit the mid/high fifty range. Of course me the Wally bought at 80p what a plonker!

MS if you think that, what I have done before is sell a ropey stock and buy into a cheaper stock, with more shares.

I did it with BB. and bought into WLW and recoveredd my loss plus some, well quite a lot actually!

proptrade - 01 Dec 2004 15:27 - 2299 of 7811

HNR....there is a sector review going on and the realism is setting in. i am not an HNR holder but the prospects are huge and the view i would take is average a few in...we all have a vested interest in its success.

outside of this sector, check out AMEC. has been sliding of late with bid rumours quietening down but look to be back in play today. worth grabbing onto if momentum continues. apologies if that last idea sounds a bit spivvy!

seawallwalker - 01 Dec 2004 15:30 - 2300 of 7811

prop avarage down is a better idea, and I agree more with that. bb. was going no where, and I really dont think it will still hence the reason I sold them and bought WLW

Dave likes WLW more when he holds them!

mickeyskint - 01 Dec 2004 15:31 - 2301 of 7811

SWW

To be honest I did buy for the long term so I am not overly concerned. I have faith in the whole Mauritanian thing which will come good. I do like the idea of buying cheaper and increasing volume.

seawallwalker - 01 Dec 2004 15:32 - 2302 of 7811

I think HNR are safe anyway.

Just some crazy pricing but for the right reasons.

Oz needs to pick them up tonight and away they will go again.

mickeyskint - 01 Dec 2004 15:38 - 2303 of 7811

Did you see Ian(MoneyAM) is having Christmas day and Boxing day off. What ever next.
