SYMPHONY PLASTICS - Recycle your way to a triple bagger! (SYM)

the pink pound - 15 Jul 2003 01:10

From earlier this year.

"The fund raise significantly strengthens Symphony's balance sheet and will
allow us to maintain the quantum growth we have enjoyed over the past few
months. We are now receiving significant interest from a variety of sectors in
our degradable solution to the problems associated with plastic waste and,
following this strengthening of our resources, we are in a much stronger
position to meet the considerable demand for our products."

This last statement shows that corporations are looking seriously at Symphonys products. Yesterdays announcement shows a real coup for the company, as they have walked away from a potential exclusivity contract with no penalties!. Rarely seen IMO.

Bio-degradeable products are appearing everywhere, especially in the consumer disposal market, and Symphony look to be taking a large chunk of this with their own brands.

I believe strongly in the management of the company. I see they have the technical ability and also the qualities required to deal with the financial markets. Too often we see an excellent company with strong technical management, only to see them fail as they have no idea how to deal with the stock market.

That is why I am nominating Symphony plastics as my "tip of the week". If you get in early enough, I believe you could see a potential treble bagger by the end of July.

I would welcome your comments on the above analysis.

Positive effect i.e.upside = .75/2.88 per cent

Good contract i.e.Local authority.Perhaps it will be possible to get similiar
contracts with government/local authorities. Also, private buyers will look
favourably on such a solid client.

Is there any news on this little one? Whats happening with the Tesco/EPI situation,I was quite keen on this stock before Xmas but never managed to buy any. It is slowly ticking down (-0.25p)today. If anyone has any thoughts I'd be obliged.

sagem - 19 Jan 2004 20:33 - 25 of 362

Dont worry, their results are exptected to be excellent and after will be into profit. A contract will resume the up way for the shares. Just hang in.

I agree with you sagem. Do you know when the results are out? I have been a faithful holder for many months now and will continue my support. I do think that they are great products and that the share price will need more news to kick start it.

I have a feeling that today's sp movement is but a rumble in the volcanic blast that will catapult SYM onto the radar of every UK stockpicker. Sounds like ramping. Isn't. I could be wrong. Don't think I will be. Anything that enables the environment to take an additional few breathes before dying on its feet will be worth its weight in gold. Enter SYM........

deadfred - 08 Aug 2005 22:50 - 31 of 362

i smell money

bosley come on in m8

lol

queen1 - 12 Aug 2005 08:33 - 32 of 362

Recommendation in Red Hot Penny Shares to sell SYM due to the loss of the retail contract. IMO this is very short-sighted and short-termist as I believe these will really fly but the market doesn't seem to think so today.

queen1 - 10 Nov 2005 17:52 - 33 of 362

This from today's Red Hot Penny Shares update:

"The French Assembly has voted through legislation banning the sale and distribution of all plastic bags and plastics packaging from 2010, unless they are biodegradable."

Surely this is good news for a company like SYM.

deadfred - 11 Nov 2005 10:12 - 34 of 362

morgan - 14 Dec 2005 08:14 - 35 of 362

ddoc2 - 19 Dec 2005 11:12 - 37 of 362

something stirring w sp, has there been any news re court case?

queen1 - 19 Dec 2005 19:06 - 38 of 362

ddoc2 - Director buying today. A good sign given the current circumstances which led to a much-needed rise in the sp. Let's hope investor confidence continues to be bouyed.

deadfred - 19 Dec 2005 20:45 - 39 of 362

court case has been seen and its in sym favour

no more appeals

can see this little number fly soon

ddoc2 - 20 Dec 2005 13:56 - 40 of 362

queen1, - didn't you mean director buyng in 12th, not 19th. another large t trade for 1.7m just now. i'm pleasantly surprised at the continued support. i got in just above the initial sp increase and though 10-20% if case was dropped. i feared that high oil prices and the lost somerfield contract would have a continuous drag effect, however the latest buying suggests more to come! what do others think?

deadfred - 20 Dec 2005 15:36 - 41 of 362

now watch the plastic being used

when the eu eventually ban non bio plqastics for shopping and garbage they will need to point out alternatives

here is the alternative bio plastics from you know were
