Range Resources Limited ("Range" or the "Company") wishes to announce that in
response to a query from the Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX") that:

1. The Company notes that it is aware of chat room speculation regarding
completed deals involving offshore Puntland and an eastern portion of the
Nugal Valley, Puntland with a TSX listed vehicle.

2. The potential deals whilst at an advanced documentation stage, are not
completed and not material until such time as a number of key conditions,
approvals and agreements are finalised and obtained.

3. As shareholders are aware, the Company is actively exploiting all four of
its project areas with development drilling and updated reserve reporting
in Texas and Trinidad, key VSP and coring test work at the 1,550m at the
Georgian - Mukhiani 1 Well and mobilisation activities in Puntland.

4. A comprehensive update will be released at the end of the week once all
material information is received.

Not entirely sure what to expect from the promised RNS tomorrow. I'd guess that Georgia will not have reached TD, assuming they are still drilling and therefore no bad news to come from that direction just yet.

I would expect encouraging news from Texas and Trinidad.

Not much to report from Puntland, although spudding of the well can't be far away so possibly a Africa Oil have set a date.

Overall, I'm guessing more positive than negative and should see the SP continue to recover.

Probably wide of the mark, but good luck to holders :-)
