THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Im now off to do some shopping.

hewittalan6 - 12 Nov 2005 09:11 - 2316 of 81564

While your at the shops, Wilbs, a packet of pork scratchings for me. (that should slow the little bugger down).

wilbs - 12 Nov 2005 09:29 - 2317 of 81564

I mentioned apple sauce and that made the bugger go faster!!

bosley - 12 Nov 2005 12:01 - 2318 of 81564

went to the mam trader's day yesterday. i thought it was a really good experience and had a cracking day. met some of the north west traders and they are all mad as cheese. al, i think you would have enjoyed it. it was also very weird putting faces to names and took me a while getting used to being called "bosley". (then again, i've been called far worse things in my time!!) i was very impressed with ruth and shogun's live trading. even though they didn't actually trade it was good to see the discipline of not chasing trades in action.

hewittalan6 - 12 Nov 2005 18:49 - 2319 of 81564

What a match.

bosley - 12 Nov 2005 22:57 - 2320 of 81564

didn't see the game, al. sounds like it was a good 'un.

hewittalan6 - 13 Nov 2005 08:50 - 2322 of 81564

Stll can't work out what Peter Crouch is for. 6'7" and he is beaten to the header by Michael Owen (5' nowt)!!

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 10:16 - 2323 of 81564

that's cos mr owen can jump, whereas mr crouch wears some kind of magnetic boot, like the ones the prisoners wear in "face off", (great film).

wilbs - 13 Nov 2005 12:30 - 2324 of 81564

His name says it all. He cant jump cos he's Mr Crouch!!!

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 19:07 - 2325 of 81564

well, today went quite well all things considered. we managed to find the players we needed and all went smoothly, even the last post. wilbs, have you and jimmyb finally decided to come together? new poster on seo thread called willib5. just wondered......

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2005 19:30 - 2326 of 81564

Iv'e been away all weekend ,just got back ,looks like your right bos wilbs and myself have been amalgermated .

hewittalan6 - 13 Nov 2005 19:40 - 2327 of 81564

amalgermated. Isn't that something a dentist does to your teeth?

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 19:53 - 2328 of 81564

my robbing bastard dentist would have charged a couple of grand to do that!!!!!

hewittalan6 - 13 Nov 2005 19:56 - 2329 of 81564

I went to the dentist two weeks ago and told him I had an abcess, was in pain and needed anti-biotics.
He told me I had an abcess, was in pain and needed anti-biotics, before emptying my wallet of huge sums of cash and holding my credit card to ransom.
Wish I could get a job like that.

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 20:01 - 2330 of 81564

how do you change dentists nowadays? have things changed? mine has started finding really expensive stuff wrong with my teeth, a filling here and there doesn't do it anymore.

hewittalan6 - 13 Nov 2005 20:03 - 2331 of 81564

Find a dentist on the net, abroad somewhere, and book with them. Cheaper (including the flights), better and more likely to have a dusky maiden-type nurse to ease your pain.

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 20:22 - 2332 of 81564

lol. might go and see eric in thailand. he did say dentists are a lot cheaper there!!!!

blinger - 13 Nov 2005 20:24 - 2333 of 81564

YEAH?
and then try to find a flight to Poland(?) when a problem occurs.
My dentist is local, well, within 16 miles, oh jaysus I have an appointment tomorrow,
probably 100, find a cheap flight for that.

bosley - 13 Nov 2005 20:36 - 2334 of 81564

you'd better hope seo does crash then!!! your short should pay out more than enough for some new teef.......
