FEVERTREE DRINKS PLC (FEVR)

dreamcatcher - 08 Nov 2014 16:51

Fever-Tree is the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers for alcoholic spirits by retail sales value, with distribution to approximately 50 countries internationally.

Based in the UK, the brand was launched in 2005 by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow to provide high quality, natural mixers which could accompany the growing demand for premium spirits. The Group now sells a range of 12 differentiated flavours to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes ("On Trade") as well as supermarkets and off-licenses for retail purchase ("Off Trade"). Approximately 70 per cent. of the Group's sales were derived from outside of the UK in FY13 with the key overseas markets being the US, Spain, and Belgium.

The Group's mixers are designed to be accompaniments for alcoholic spirits or used in cocktails, although they can also be consumed on their own. Since 2005, the Company has launched at least one new product a year, which includes 4 variants of tonic water, 2 variants of ginger beer, 3 variants of lemonade, and one variant each of ginger ale, soda water and cola.

Is the sp starting to get a bit ahead of itself? IF I held shares, which sadly I don't, I would be looking to start banking profits now and perhaps even selling out with a view to buying back in when the sp falls. FEVR is a great company, hopefully there are no skeletons in the cupboard, but I think a retracement is due. However, WTFDIK?!

kimoldfield - 07 Nov 2016 18:41 - 235 of 711

WTFDIK turned out to be accurate! :o)

Mentor is very happy with what I said 18 month ago and all true of a high PE 30 and not idea what is now but most likely well well over that.

Happy enough I do not do shorts

and I do not buy stocks at this rating but sell them at much lower rate.

But something happen on the company balance sheet during the last year......
from EPS of 1.54p then were restated as 6.46p this year.

WHAT DID HAPPEN I DON'T KNOW, no time for a share I don't hold.

23/03/15
EPS for 2014 were 1.54 pence per share

14th March 2016
EPS for 2014 were 6.46 pence per share
---------------
Tell "dreamer" and "cynic" of the alarm bells on all those shares of them going south OUCH

I have been doing nicely with my short term strategy, that I post when buy and then when sell, none of you do.

So Up yours you two, fighting one day and now happy to be pals cuz holding the same stock, no time for back-stabbing posters.

dreamcatcher - 08 Nov 2016 07:01 - 237 of 711

If you have any brains you take actions with your holding as the stock rose at such a rate . ie sell as the stock rises. Do not wish to argue with you. No doubt it will crash one day, hey ho.

mentor - 08 Nov 2016 08:44 - 238 of 711

re - brains

Some of you do not have then, very easy to say but not always done is another matter

I survive very well on decades of almost daily trading, I must have some.

re- Do not wish to argue with you

why then spend time looking for my comment 18 month ago, and now saying you did what I said.... Tooooooooo spensiveeeeeeeee

cynic - 08 Nov 2016 09:37 - 239 of 711

mentor - 08 Nov 2016 10:26 - 242 of 711

Shoppers discover great festive spirit at Tesco

26 Dec 2016
Brits are going premium with their festive spirits this season. In the lead up to New Year's Eve, Tesco has seen an increasing number of customers who are treating themselves to top of the range branded and own-label liquors.
And they are not solely being tempted by familiar brands, they are also looking for high quality and exceptional value as well.
Amongst the most popular drinks in the range is the supermarket’s award-winning Tesco finest* French Grain Vodka.
It’s been described by the Master Distiller for the  producer as ’Martini Grade’, and the top notch and exceptionally smooth spirit has seen a 250 per cent growth in the last year alone.
It won a silver medal at the 2016 International Wine and Spirit Competition and has been compared favourably to top premium brands - but is available at half the price and can be snapped up for just £18 until January 9.
Across the festive season, Tesco has seen a growth in the demand for its premium range spirits, which includes gin, vodka, single malt, brandy and rum, by over 30 per cent compared with the same period last year.
Tesco senior spirits buyer Andrew Hargreaves said: “Brits are becoming thrifty connoisseurs when it comes to enjoying spirits - they want the premium quality drinks but without the price tag to match.
“We are seeing customers treating themselves to award-winning own label drinks, so they can enjoy the festive season in high spirits without breaking the bank.
“We really are witnessing a golden age for upmarket liquors with many of them being produced right here in the UK.”
Tesco’s finest Aromatic Gin has also soared by 185 per cent in the last year and is currently on sale for £14.
Among Tesco own label spirits which have won awards are:
Tesco Calvados Pays d’Auge VSOP 70cl – Gold winner at 2016 International Wine and Spirits Competition – currently on sale for £15.50
Tesco Armagnac VSOP 70cl – Silver Outstanding prize at 2016 International Wine and Spirits Competition – currently on sale for £22
Tesco finest* Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 12 YO 70cl – Silver Outstanding prize at 2016 International Wine and Spirits Competition – Currently on sale for £25
Tesco finest* Sloe Gin 70cl – Bronze at 2016 International Wine and Spirits Competition – Currently on sale for £14
Tesco finest* French Grain Vodka is currently on sale for £18.
The premium drinks boom follows the recent UK cocktail revival and TV programmes such as Mad Men which have inspired shoppers to treat themselves to better quality spirits to drink at home.

‘Groundhog Day’ Fevertree still has more room to fizz

Leading technical analyst Zak Mir tells the Proactive Investors Bulletin Board that the premium drinks mixers brand Fevertree Drinks PLC (LON:FEVR) still has plenty of upside.
“The technicals reflect the positive situation,” Mir explains.
“A gap above the 50-day moving average is one of my favourite signals and you had one in July and November 2015, you’ve had them again in May and November last year – it’s like Groundhog Day.”
“I’m looking for a £12.60 or £12.70 target there which is the top of the trend channel.”
