Just topped up at 15.84p but shows as sell. Suggest some of the sells going through are actually buys.

Does it not worry you that you can get so far inside the spread?

Hilary may only have two legs Aldwickk. Dogs have 6 - forelegs at the front and two at the back. Happy hunting!

Here is more commentry from iii.
If the cap fits, wear it!
Starts
opmoc - do you hold?
I take it you don't having read your comments on ADVFN and here!
So you don't like this stock!
Okay, I can live with that.
In time the holders will either be rewarded or they will loose their cash. That is the straight option. As has been pointed out on ADVFN, Oil exploration stocks are high risk. All investors know this, and should be aware that there is no such thing as free money!
The results from Mauritannia have been outstanding so far, bar 3 holes this time and one last time.
Sentiment may not be it should be good at the moment for some people, but hey, seen it all before.
All shareholders do their own thing, buy, sell or hold based on their own judgement of the facts known.
Here is an inponderable.
Will all holes have oil or gas?
Of course not!
Exporation for oil is not that simple. These shares are a decent long term hold in my opinion with a decent upside, also in the long term.
The Merou hole may not be the failre everyone thinks it is, only time will tell, and another hole there. Tiof 3 is not a failure, there is a large amount of oil, but for technical and mechanical reasons they were not able to finish testing.
Remember that time is money, especially with the equipment on site, the rigs are there for a contracted time only and they have a busy programme.
Out of the next few holes to complete the Mauritannian venture this time, there are 10 proposed production wells. This means revenues once the product comes to the surface, which means profit eventually, which means an increase in the s/p, which means there is an option other than committing hara kiri!
HOLD!

It's relevant again
753690 was there something significant in the date at the bottom of your post?
753690 - 2 Dec'04 - 10:29 - 2925 of 2943
Hi all
This looks like desperate times! I do not regularly post but keep a regular watch with 160M of these in my SIPP.
There are great prospects for this outfit and the government deal equates to a major sp hike over the next two years. Why would the institutional buyers snap these up at just over 17 pence.Unfortunately, I have noticed that most placings are generally accompanied by a deterioration in the share price (eg Cenes).
I believe the support line is 15pence and may slip lower to 14p with stop losses. IN WHICH CASE - BUY! This will be the last opportunity
Regards to all and look forward to a prosperous 1995.

160M. Is that 160 million? Shurely shome mishtake.
SWW - PMO director bought in too early at 560p didn't he. He can afford to top up no doubt.

I did a quick count up, 22 million quids worth, may be a bit weary here, but the essence is harmless I think so I will leave it.
I would like a tenth of that!
PMO director knows where the share is going I would have thought, too much cost to be anything else.

Can anyone explain the rationale in the trading in these shares today? 10.5M classified as buys. About half the sells were also buys if you checked quotes periodically through the day. The shares were trading (buy and sell) at the bottom end of the range of the spread most of the day. What are the MMs up to?
