Tunisia - Sidi Toui 3 Well Update - Future Plans

Petroceltic operated well Sidi Toui 3 in the Ksar Hadada block has been drilled
to a total measured depth of 1300 meters, logged and tested. The objective
Ordovician Hamra Quartzite, was encountered at 1023 meters approximately
380meters up dip from the Sidi Toui 1 well located 4.5 kilometers to the east.

Whilst drilling through the Hamra Quartzite oil shows were recorded over a
177meter gross interval from 1023 to total depth at 1300 meters. . Casing was
set above the Quartzite to facilitate a short duration open hole test which
commenced on the evening of 2 December, 2004 during which hydrocarbons were not
recovered.

The Ordovician Hamra Quartzite, when fractured, is a significant hydrocarbon
producer in Libya, Algeria and Tunisia.

Oil and gas shows were also encountered at a shallower depth over an interval
from 835 to 900meters. However, it was not possible to test this zone, which is
behind casing, at this time due to a commitment to release the rig to another
oil company after conducting one test.

The well is to be suspended pending further evaluation and/or testing in order
to assess the future potential of the Sidi Toui structure.

Oryx Prospect

Acquisition of new seismic over this prospect is expected to commence next
month. This data will be acquired at no cost to Petroceltic and will be used to
determine a well location on this prospect

John Craven CEO of Petroceltic commented, 'The oil and gas shows in Sidi Toui 3
give us confidence that there is working petroleum system in the southern part
of our Ksar Hadada block. In this area there are some very large structures
including Sidi Toui and Oryx. During the coming weeks we will be evaluating all
the data from Sidi Toui 3 and the new seismic from Oryx to plan our future
drilling campaign in this large block.'

Further Information

Petroceltic has a 100% working interest in the 7, 500 square kilometre Ksar
Hadada Block in southern Tunisia, which contains a number of leads and
prospects. Petroceltic also has appraisal and exploration interests in Algeria,
Italy and offshore Ireland and has cash resources going forward of over US$25
million.

PCI looks dead in the water, (or at least in trouble).

The card turned up is a Joker.

aldwickk - 03 Dec 2004 10:12 - 2357 of 7811

Oil price $60 next year, starting mid-winter.

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 10:39 - 2358 of 7811

unfortunately the dreams of US$60 look to be fading. bigger picture the mkts are better off in a 32 to 42 range and i think we will be stuck in there for most of 2005.

irrespective of the price if we are all sticking to the sector then stay in the quality. some s*t has floated to the surface in recent months....SEY is lengths ahead of that crowd.

tree shaken, placement flippers out. 2006 holders take a massive chill pill and take SEY off the watch pages for a few weeks! (ok, alot to ask but at least stop watching every trade and tick).

aldwickk - 03 Dec 2004 10:59 - 2359 of 7811

So no reason for Seawallwalker to throw himself in , STOP DON'T DO IT. lol

its a cry for help!!!!

I need a drink.

It could be worse like PCI.

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 11:16 - 2363 of 7811

SEY, PET...it could happen to you!

gavdfc - 03 Dec 2004 11:25 - 2364 of 7811

Morning all,

Busy week for me, been away a bit. And today just tops of a crap week all round. PCI, hmmmm.... moving on swiftly.... got hammered on that one. Stopped out earlier, but still made on my 2 buys from earlier this year, so could be worse for me I suppose. So, Mickey, think I need a drink, or 2 or 20!!!

seawallwalker - 03 Dec 2004 11:55 - 2365 of 7811

Guys, I sold PCI out a couple of months back. I didn't like the odds 50/50, and it kept me awake at night.

So did PRE which I also sold at 24p before it flew north and fell south, for the same reasons.

SEY is not dependent on the turn of a card, like these, so I sleep and well!

The price has now dropped to where we were last summer, so what!

I am not topping up any more, I feel sorry for the PRE and PCI holders, PRE especially as I feel the Directors led them a line with the encouraging shows for the danbury dome rubbish.

It is worth bearing in mind that the same monkeys are director and ceo of PET!

Another turn of the card job. That is a worry, (that I don't have!). Who knows PET may come good, if not then a fall to 40p or less is looming, probably much less. The win if it works will be mammouth, the fall if it don't likewise!

SEY- who cares where it goes just now?

prop is right, todays price does not matter, I suspect a bit of sympathy fall here after a terrible week for the OIL & Gas exploration sector.

Overall confidence will be low.

Maurice Chevalier sang, "Why cry about the weather, enjoy it!"

I do!

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:00 - 2366 of 7811

i sense a wee dram whilst at the sea front....you are making perfect sense and you know what..i may add here.....

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:05 - 2367 of 7811

5 million printed and up .25. come on the SEY

gavdfc - 03 Dec 2004 12:05 - 2368 of 7811

SWW, hope you made a profit on PCI. As for PRE and PET, wouldn't touch them at all, but thats just my opinion. Think more than a wee dram is in order tonight!

Holding SEY until 2006 at least for reasons well discussed here. Also holding SIA as my other oil play. Happy holding both these 2 and would add at some point, but not looking at any other oils.

mickeyskint - 03 Dec 2004 12:06 - 2369 of 7811

I'm in for the long haul so providing this is not the price in say 2 years I'm not too bothered. Would like things to happen sooner of course but patience is what it's all about.

MS

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:07 - 2370 of 7811

wise words indeed....

seawallwalker - 03 Dec 2004 12:17 - 2371 of 7811

I did not make much at all on PCI when I sold, but I have slept well for a couple of months now, so I made peace of mind!
