THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

did you watch "unforgiven" last night? ages since i saw it last and i'd forgotten what a good film it is.

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2005 11:54 - 2358 of 81564

No. Took one look at the title and thought it must be one of those docudramas, what the wife thinks about me.

just having a butty.

can't beat a couple of nice baps!!

bhunt1910 - 14 Nov 2005 12:17 - 2360 of 81564

Now I fancy a couple of those - I was going to have a nice Caeser salad - but a couple of bacon butties looks like they might be replacing it now.

Caerer salads replaced by a nice COUPLE of baps...........HMMM.........There's a joke in there somewhere about "et tu Bruti", but I really can't be arsed looking for it.

no contest, baza

chocolat - 14 Nov 2005 12:26 - 2365 of 81564

Hey I'm still cooking mine.

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2005 12:27 - 2366 of 81564

See. A proper bacon buttie contains all the essential requirements from the three major foodgroups, fats, proteins and black crunchy bits. Without any of this nonsense about vitamins and rubbish like that.
Food group of the Gods.

bosley - 14 Nov 2005 12:31 - 2367 of 81564

alan, you're missing a vital ingredient.

chocolat - 14 Nov 2005 12:33 - 2368 of 81564

There's nowt like a bit of bacon on some nice warm baps.

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2005 12:34 - 2369 of 81564

Ah, that gets lumped in with the over-riding food group of donner kebab, king of proper British foods.
Speaking of which, I just got a mildly offensive and somewhat racist joke on my mobile, but I daren't put it on here cos they'll ban me!!

bosley - 14 Nov 2005 12:41 - 2370 of 81564

alan, send it me then.

hiya chocolat. i had a feeling you would show up. last night i said "furry muff" and there you were, today i mentioned "a couple of nice baps", and there you are again!!!!! but you are quite right, nothing like hot meat between some nice, warm baps pushed together....... do you want some creamy mayo on your baps, too?

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2005 12:42 - 2371 of 81564

Too much detail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2005 12:44 - 2372 of 81564

Bos,
Post sent.

chocolat - 14 Nov 2005 13:04 - 2373 of 81564

That was just a coincidence last night whilst I was looking for the right banana, bos. I already had some mayo thanks - you should see the mess I made trying to lick it off.
