SEY, PET...it could happen to you!

gavdfc - 03 Dec 2004 11:25 - 2364 of 7811

Morning all,

Busy week for me, been away a bit. And today just tops of a crap week all round. PCI, hmmmm.... moving on swiftly.... got hammered on that one. Stopped out earlier, but still made on my 2 buys from earlier this year, so could be worse for me I suppose. So, Mickey, think I need a drink, or 2 or 20!!!

seawallwalker - 03 Dec 2004 11:55 - 2365 of 7811

Guys, I sold PCI out a couple of months back. I didn't like the odds 50/50, and it kept me awake at night.

So did PRE which I also sold at 24p before it flew north and fell south, for the same reasons.

SEY is not dependent on the turn of a card, like these, so I sleep and well!

The price has now dropped to where we were last summer, so what!

I am not topping up any more, I feel sorry for the PRE and PCI holders, PRE especially as I feel the Directors led them a line with the encouraging shows for the danbury dome rubbish.

It is worth bearing in mind that the same monkeys are director and ceo of PET!

Another turn of the card job. That is a worry, (that I don't have!). Who knows PET may come good, if not then a fall to 40p or less is looming, probably much less. The win if it works will be mammouth, the fall if it don't likewise!

SEY- who cares where it goes just now?

prop is right, todays price does not matter, I suspect a bit of sympathy fall here after a terrible week for the OIL & Gas exploration sector.

Overall confidence will be low.

Maurice Chevalier sang, "Why cry about the weather, enjoy it!"

I do!

i sense a wee dram whilst at the sea front....you are making perfect sense and you know what..i may add here.....

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:05 - 2367 of 7811

5 million printed and up .25. come on the SEY

gavdfc - 03 Dec 2004 12:05 - 2368 of 7811

SWW, hope you made a profit on PCI. As for PRE and PET, wouldn't touch them at all, but thats just my opinion. Think more than a wee dram is in order tonight!

Holding SEY until 2006 at least for reasons well discussed here. Also holding SIA as my other oil play. Happy holding both these 2 and would add at some point, but not looking at any other oils.

mickeyskint - 03 Dec 2004 12:06 - 2369 of 7811

I'm in for the long haul so providing this is not the price in say 2 years I'm not too bothered. Would like things to happen sooner of course but patience is what it's all about.

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:07 - 2370 of 7811

wise words indeed....

seawallwalker - 03 Dec 2004 12:17 - 2371 of 7811

I did not make much at all on PCI when I sold, but I have slept well for a couple of months now, so I made peace of mind!

Fluffy............................

Ahhhhhhhhhhh......................

seawallwalker - 03 Dec 2004 12:24 - 2372 of 7811

For those who no longer have SEY on their watch list, we have climbed another 1/4p from the low of the day.

MM's have realised that SEY has no risk in a free carry!

Shame they never realised it before!

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:26 - 2373 of 7811

i think that 5 million trade was sloshing about as well (technical term)

proptrade - 03 Dec 2004 12:33 - 2374 of 7811
