Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Great one Alan. It does go a bit rusty if you don't keep it dry and clean.

Tried allsorts but a couple of weeks off the beer and a course of anti-biotics usually does the trick. Anyway, its always well polished.

I've played some crap in my time the worst has got to be "The Birdie Song" and Viva Espania or how ever you spell it. Backed Bobby Davro once a complete pillock.

Met Bryan Adams in the British Club in Abu Dhabi. Didn't know who the hell he was, I was just talking to the most drunken person I've ever met as he lolloped onto me and almost fell off his bar stool, while dribbling into the bowl of peanuts on the bar.
Suddenly two great huge men in black suits physically picked him up and litterally carried him away. 15 minutes later I saw them push this same guy on stage, and he gave a fantastic concert.
Great musician, but can drink faster than I can breathe!!!

On name dropping, while in Abu Dhabi, I met the one and only Andy McNabb. And I know his real name. I met a couple of others from the Bravo-Two-Zero troop, and there wives too!!

I did a gig years ago when the drummer got so plastered he fell backwards of the stage taking half his kit with him. I nearly wet myself and so did all the punters. At another gig a young lady in a low cut dress was bobbing up and down when her left tit fell out. It was lovely. I seen it all, drunks, more fights than I care to remember women and all and of course the odd jump in the back of the groups van. I am a big Bryan Adams fan, like Springsteen as well. Live misic for me.
