Adamind - classier than Monstermob without the hype - yet? (ADA)

hawick - 07 Jun 2005 14:38

Been busy today researching this share and decided to take an initial holding.

First things, what caught my eye was their trading update and AGM statement this morning.

ADAMIND LTD
AGM Statement and Business Update

New operator agreements with Verizon Wireless, Telus Mobility
and a worldwide expansion deal with Ericsson

MILIPITAS, California - Shailendra Jain, CEO of Adamind Ltd ('Adamind' or 'the
Company'), the leading media adaptation software provider for delivering
multimedia messages (MMS) and rich content services across any network or mobile
device, is going to provide the following update on the business at its Annual
General Meeting today.

'Adamind has benefited from strong trading conditions in the first five months
to 30 May 2005 as mobile telecoms network operators deploy new infrastructure
for the launch of MMS and rich content services such as picture messaging, music
and video download.

'The Company is on track to achieve its high growth and annual business targets
and already has seen major new deployments in telecom leaders including Verizon
Wireless, North America's largest mobile network operator with 40 million
subscribers and Telus Mobility, Canada's largest mobile operator. In addition,
Adamind has penetrated into high growth regions like Russia and Eastern Europe.
The total number of operator customers using our software is now more than 90
worldwide.

'We have also broadened our alliance with Ericsson, the world's leading telecom
supplier, with integration of Adamind's video content adaptation software as
part of their MMSC offering.

'Given the Company's revenue model is linked to the volume of content and MMS
traffic over operator networks, we are well-positioned to benefit as content &
messaging services become increasingly popular with consumers in the years
ahead.'

Impressed? I was. Made me think that this has a tremendous amount more to offer than recent flier MOB (which similarly slipped after flotation but has rocketed since). ADA Floated at 132p rose to 156p and has slipped steadily to 110p but today's update suggests to me this one is going places. Yet the market cap has fallen from floation of 46.7 million to now 38 million. I think this is going to be a major success story.

The chart isn't great, but not surprisingly today's statement has brought some chunky buys and we have the chance to get in at a basement price. And i think the fall has more been down to unlucky timing and a fall in AIM rather than much selling.

Strong buy at 108.5p on a 2-12 month basis, keeping under review. .

ADA's chart does'nt look so nice but MONSTERMOB is going up today so maybe we will see a return of investors to this company. My target is 135p which should be reached easily enough.
Funnily, when interest goes out of gaming stocks the above two mentioned stocks see the return of investors. We will see.....
LOL Ethel

still no interest in this one--have I bought a dog?? The figures looked good I hope we have some news or a trading update soon something is needed to move the sp hopefully up!

moneyplus - 03 Dec 2005 14:58 - 26 of 31

lost patience and sold most of my holding at a loss-great prospects but no market interest so could be a long time moving up. hopefully will recover losses elsewhere are you still in Hawick??

ethel - 29 Dec 2005 12:15 - 27 of 31

Stock overhang out of the way and we're motoring today.Pleased I did'nt sell out.You still in,Hawick?
Shall be pleased to see the back of this share ,unless it makes me a fortune!Found the pace too slow and the big drop in sp hard to handle.Emblaze also a slow mover but improving towards the end of the year.Maybe 2006 will be kinder to this type of share.Fireone (FPA)has lost a lot of value, too. Will it drop below IPO level?
LOL Ethel

ethel - 11 Jan 2006 13:09 - 28 of 31

Great news today hoping that the sp breaks through 120p and carries on up.Chart looks o.k.too.
LOL to any holders left!

ethel pleased to see your patience has been rewarded-I knew it looked a good company but boredom won. I did the same with HBG and MOB--you know what they same about fools and money--I need to do well in NLR to make up the losses!!
