Tree shaken sufficiently? HNR tomorrow.

proptrade - 06 Dec 2004 15:07 - 2410 of 7811

bounce back....good to see.

namreh3 - 06 Dec 2004 15:10 - 2411 of 7811

Unlike PRE and PCI. Looks like a bit of a bloodbath. Even PMO continues down - has had excellent year though.

seawallwalker - 06 Dec 2004 15:14 - 2412 of 7811

PMO looks sound to me and is a buy at this price.

Trouble is, I don't want them!

I think there is 1 price tag on HNR, but not today!

Wait till tomorrow I think.

namreh3 - 06 Dec 2004 15:17 - 2413 of 7811

Agreed re PMO. Good post earlier SWW.

seawallwalker - 06 Dec 2004 15:26 - 2414 of 7811

Thanks.

It was written with a slant on HNR, but the writer came up with some very interesting points which could have a knock on for SEY.

I am tempted to have a few more SEY after all.

Better decide soon by the look of things, heck tomorrow will do!

If it jumps 3p, they are still a good buy.

mickeyskint - 06 Dec 2004 15:31 - 2415 of 7811

SWW

Do you have a large holding?

MS

seawallwalker - 06 Dec 2004 15:36 - 2416 of 7811

Of what? SEY?

That's all I have at the mo.

I am not rich, but have 1/8th of my pension in this stock.

The rest is either spent or invested elsewhere. I read when I started this that I should only play with what I can afford to lose, so that is what I do.

I have a bit more that I use for short term stocks.

proptrade - 06 Dec 2004 16:07 - 2418 of 7811

i have just posted on there sir!

seawallwalker - 06 Dec 2004 17:18 - 2419 of 7811

Much better buy/sell ratio.

PRE going down the tubes, as is PCI.

Look forward to tomorrows wishy washy RNS then.

mickeyskint - 06 Dec 2004 17:21 - 2420 of 7811

I feel it for you guys who hold PRE & PCI. It's not funny loosing hard earned money. Been there myself.

LOL

mickeyskint - 06 Dec 2004 17:27 - 2422 of 7811

Got to be buys. If so could be good news tomorrow.

seawallwalker - 06 Dec 2004 18:51 - 2423 of 7811

The though elsewhere is the same..........buys.

seawallwalker - 07 Dec 2004 08:00 - 2424 of 7811

Drilling report, lacks lustre.

http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200412070700400917G.html

As the rigs gear into production mode, the weekly updates will cease.

Tiof 3- Progress and Current Status:
Since the last report (30 November 2004) the well was suspended as a potential
future development well and the West Navigator drill ship then moved to the
Chinguetti Field.

So it is not a potential future production well. Why would they lie? Did they lie? Conspiracy Theory? No!

It will be interesting to see what happens to the price of PSC Partners with no updates after Tiof 5, for a while.

proptrade - 07 Dec 2004 09:08 - 2425 of 7811

maybe the conspiracists will be out again now that the weekly reports have stopped....why? tiof 3 huge strike but keeping quiet...who knows.

StarFrog - 07 Dec 2004 10:04 - 2426 of 7811

proptrade - my reading of today's report is that the weekly reports for the Chinguetti Development Drilling programme would stop, not the general weekly update on the other exploration wells. Makes sense. There wouldn't be a lot to report on a week by week basis for the devlopment programme.

proptrade - 07 Dec 2004 10:19 - 2427 of 7811

StarFrog, you are 100% right. i think i am just in conspiracy mode (thx SWW!) and am trying to excite myself on what is already a deathly dull day.

kind rgds
prop

seawallwalker - 07 Dec 2004 11:10 - 2428 of 7811

prop, now I have re rad the report I am convinced of its' ambiguity in respect of Tiof 3.

The wording is such that they have not abandoned tyhe well, which is the ususal wording for a duffer, but suspended it, and will return.

Theey are also from waht I read, gearing up Tiof for production alongside Chinguetti.

Or; am I reading too much into it?
