BLINX and you've missed it, the next google multi bagger!!! (BLNX)

Still Waiting - 25 Jul 2008 23:22

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=BLNX&S

With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

Alexa rankings confirm the continued growth in usage as its viral effect spreads:-

The ITN RNS confirms blnx is the best in the market and is growing fast:-

Leading News Organization ITN Extends Advertising Deal with blinkx Based on Proven Campaign Success

blinkx Selected to Power Advertising across ITN Website and Syndication Partner Sites

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - July 2, 2008 - blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced that it has won an extension contract that will augment the scope of its advertising partnership with ITN, one of the world's leading news and multimedia content companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, ITN will use AdHoc, blinkx's patented contextual advertising platform for online TV and video, to serve advertisements on the ITN website and its syndication partner sites, including Bebo.

Through AdHoc, ITN has already been effectively monetizing its premium news content on the blinkx.com network for over six months. During this time, ITN achieved a significantly better return, greater search volume, and higher monetization through blinkx than through other syndication partners.

AdHoc uses blinkx's patented speech-to-text transcription and visual analysis technology to understand video content more thoroughly and effectively than any other service today, and can therefore dynamically place the most pertinent advertising against it. The AdHoc platform offers media companies and advertisers a unique value proposition -- video advertising which combines the emotive power of TV promotion, with the relevance and utility of contextual search advertising.

The confluence of ITN's premium TV content, blinkx's extensive syndication network, and AdHoc's uniquely powerful targeting capabilities was a formula for success. By extending its partnership with blinkx, ITN aims to achieve similar returns by leveraging the AdHoc platform to deliver contextually relevant video advertising on its own website and across its distribution partner sites.

'We're thrilled to be broadening our relationship with ITN,' said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. 'News content is one of the most popular categories of online video and there's clearly a tremendous opportunity for monetization. The success of our partnership with ITN is evidence that the blinkx AdHoc platform is a uniquely powerful solution for online video advertising today.'

'We've been delighted with the results of our partnership with blinkx and are looking forward to implementing the AdHoc technology on our site,' said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director, ITN On. 'blinkx AdHoc has proven that it can achieve significant monetization of our content, effective marketing for advertisers and, most importantly, a useful, non-disruptive experience for our audience.'

As a pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the most effective way to search new forms of online content such as video. With more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content, including favorite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs and more, blinkx uses advanced speech recognition technology to deliver results that are more accurate and reliable than standard metadata-based keyword searches.

It is amazing that we haven't had Raving Davy Gravy ramping on this stock.

ravey davy gravy - 20 Aug 2010 18:19 - 2420 of 6187

Haystack.Gausie is long on BLNX.got any messages for him? lost your voice?

ravey davy gravy - 20 Aug 2010 22:51 - 2426 of 6187

Haystack.

Maybe that's a good sign re Gbo because you cannot really deramp it without
knowing what the company does, of course you can research it and post the
bear points which of course will be their debt but the broker forcasts are expecting
a massive jump in profits this year and next and the recent trading update confirms
they are doing very well.

Eps forcast for this year is to double to 3.34p then jump again to over 8p, so a foward Per of under 1.5 for next year, the growth looks impressive, if they get
lucky and get their money back from the greek government then that will be a brucy bonus but if they get anywhere near the targets then i expect the cashflows
will bring their debt down quickly, i will probably add more on Monday, mm would
only let me buy the NMS, you have to wait a while before hitting them again otherwise they threaten to cancel all the orders, only other option is a 1p+ premium
for any reasonable size, i dont play that game.

Sorry for O/T, i will start a Gbo soon here.

Haystack - 20 Aug 2010 23:56 - 2427 of 6187

I can't say that I really care what GBO do or how well they do it. I am sure your ramping will be up to your usual standard.

"Small Stocks set to shine - Managers are looking beyond Britain's firms"

"Blinkx 73p(Guy Feld, analyst on the Marlborough Special Situations Fund)

Blinkx is a 231m video and "rich media" search engine spun out of enterprise search company Autonomy in May 2007 at 45p a share. It initially slumped, but has soared from 12p to 73p in just three months. "Blinkx was a classic case of technology coming to early", said Feld. He thinks the firm, which has an index of more than 35m hours of searchable video, could become as well known as Google as broadband makes video search more viable."

Haystackit looks like just about everyone disagrees with your view on blnxeven your bum buddy Gausie is now longor though he dont know his reasons. I'm speculating as to whether it might be the lying reason, the cheating reason or the fraud reason.here are a few others that fancy BLINKX

Haystack.any advice for Gausiehow about listen to Tabasco he is never wrong!

Haystack - 22 Aug 2010 12:10 - 2432 of 6187

I don't think Gausie disagrees with my view of Blinkxs. He is just long at the moment. It is not the same thing. I think the company is worthless, but it doesn't mean I don't hink it may go up for a period and maybe even several times. I would have though that Google probably has more searchable video than Blinkx.

The point is,from the little seed grows the great oak. This little seed is growing fast.

ravey davy gravy - 22 Aug 2010 14:41 - 2434 of 6187

Does it really sink in what you preach haystack !

Being a proverbial smart arse does not make you richer you know, it's all about good timing and a lot of "bad" stocks will multiply while sentiment is good, some of
my stocks have done that over and over again so instead of being bearish on every stock on the market which you have for the last 10 years try trading some
while they are popular, it might put a smile on your miserable face....:-))

ps...are we going to play the shrink card again haystack, just remember it was you
telling me how many doctors you have as friends.....makes you wonder eh :-))

cynic - 22 Aug 2010 14:45 - 2435 of 6187

rdg
"being bearish on every stock on the market which you have for the last 10 years "

It is in fact just a very few. I generally only post on stocks that I dislike. At least I have no axe to grind. When you ramp your stocks it is for your benefit, irrespective of whether the stocks is in fact any good.

ravey davy gravy - 22 Aug 2010 15:26 - 2437 of 6187

You are so wrapped up in your own arrogance haystack it's unreal !

You contradict yourself every time you post, i know what you used to do on advfn and you seem to post here in self denial over and over again.

But if thats how you get your kicks then so be it, maybe it's a game to you and
you have to win that game..so be it !

I buy a stock and post bullish on it, i'm doing the same as thousands of other posters that use these sites, of course it's for my benefit, if the price rises then i make a profit when/if i decide to sell, why not have a go at the all the other posters that are bullish on their stocks, take master rsi, he is a serial pump and dumper from advfn that wont hold a stock more than a day but keeps ramping
his latest plays over here, at least i hold my stocks medium term to see if they
do multi bag !

cynic - 22 Aug 2010 15:36 - 2438 of 6187

rdg - our mutual dislike is mutual, but hayseed is blinded by prejudice (slightly different from arrogance) as he even admits on the gaza thread ... do not expect objective judgment from him, because he is incapable of same

for myself, i post about stocks i like, and others i dislike, and change my mind on some, and tell of my disasters (which few do)
