On Moday 8th August, following the AGM, the shares were consolidated. The consolidation rate is one new 5p share for every five old 1p shares held. Today's bid/offer price of 90/93p is equivalent to 18/18.6p pre-consolidation.

So if for example you'd held 10,000 shares @ 16p last Friday, you'd hold 2,000 new shares at 93p today.

Drilling so far is :-

Wed 3rd 1250 feet

Wed 10th 2750 feet with 2026 feet cased

So we are aiming for 4167 feet with 2750 drilled upto last Wednesday, leaing 1415 feet to drill, and in the week between those two Wednesday reports we drilled 1500 feet, so next Wednesday we should hit OIL

Yes, great news is on the way from the IoW

Don't get too excited now. It's not the Wild West with a huge gusher and dancing roughnecks soiled in oil. There will be a lot of lab work to do when the first samples come up.

My take on the small rise, is because of this mornings announcement on the Dutch deal.

I don't see how they could have drilled and cased so far, so quick, it's still going to hit the spot next Wednesday or Thursday ....

Market makers Marking down prices for investors to sell, Automatic stop losses triggered and dont forget news due tommorow which always makes investors jittery.

No more local news on Meridian TV last few days, we will have to wait for the weekly RNS out tomorrow, unless someone heard otherwise.

Moving up SP to the close, expect BLR to move as well.

Well sit tight and wait for the news due within the hour, hold on to your hat and your balls just in case.

I really hope there is recoverable oil in the hole then all the balless b--tards that have sold this morning won't be able to buy them back quickly enough.

I think another update is due very soon!

Whys that then? Spill the beans. Have you heard something we haven't or is it just a feeling? Don't understand the sell off. Thought the update was just saying that work was on schedule, or did I miss something?
