Some good news at last from this weeks Shares mag. Tim Freeborn revisits the company and altho no firm details are given about new deals he says they will be announced this quarter. I would think that this could be at the same time as the interim results are announced. I for one will be holding on cos they will fly sooner rather than later! ( 8.30% up today!)

Calm down. I am holding more than a few of these shares. What you are suggesting is similar to what I suggested in post on these BB a few years ago and have read all the information and news releases over the last 6mths and perused the figures. But I think you are hopeful, but also consider it a bit of a punt. ( I am glad that my holdings in this share is a relatively small percentage of my overall portfolio, which I will be holding for quite a long time. The only diffiultu I find with shares like this are getting out whwn you wish to without sustaning an unreasonble loss due to the spread.

Very good news.

The agreement WAS up to 50% commission (to be paid to Gelande) of the 'net revenue' on New Business introduced directly or solely by Gelande to earthport.

Rob Cunningham is/was the major shareholder in Gelande.

Looks like he is now fully comitted to EPO.

Well a very good day all round i think! Good to see CEO is fully focused on EPO now and not his investment vehicle. Looks like the city agree cos im sure those large trade are from an institutional buyer, which bodes well for a positive run!

Link-up with Legendary Investments


earthport plc (earthport) is pleased to announce that it is working with
Legendary Investments plc, the investment company led by Shami Ahmed, with
respect to the commercial exploitation of opportunities for the use of
earthport's electronic payments products and banking network.

In line with Legendary Investments' business strategy of investing in companies
where it can make a strategic contribution to the business, Legendary
Investments and Shami Ahmed will bring to bear their expertise in the UK retail
sector on earthport products including the recently announced earthport 'stored
value' feature. Particular opportunities include online and off line gift cards
and payments and loyalty smart cards.

In addition, Legendary and earthport will co-operate in development of B2B and
P2P payment services in Pakistan and Asia.

In respect of these activities, earthport has granted options, exercisable by 31
December 2004, over 50 million earthport shares. The options are exercisable at
various prices the minimum of which is 2.75p. In addition, Legendary
Investments has already subscribed for 10 million earthport shares at 2.5p each.

Rob Cunningham, earthport's CEO, commented,

Do you have a crystal ball? Another good announcement today! Things are certainly improving on the PR front and with the share price too!!

No crystal ball unfortunately, just a deep scepticism about insider trading in the city and so-called efficient markets!

Other than the press release I havent seen any other details of this latest tie up, (and importantly the prices of the options), which would increase the shares in issue by 10 %. But, better than paying cash I guess.

I would imagine the next leap in the share price, rather than a steady uptick will come when that other broker, whose name I can't recall starts coverage, (or if shares of IC give another positive write up)

More announcements to come I hope.

There were supposed to be many deals in the pipeline, looks like they are starting to come through.
