I think close of play tomorrow is when we find out if VLK is admitted to the FTSE allshare. If it is, then this should surely have a positive impact on the share price, as the implication is that tracker funds would start to add the stock to their portfolios.

Yes, Bob Morton is Chairman of Vislink and also of The Armour Group which is another in my share portfolio. Have followed him over the years and with some very successful companies I recently made a 25 grand Profit from Vislink in under 12 months. The AGM is end of Dec and some sparkling results are anticipated. DYOR but buy some.

Sold my stake in VLK just before Xmas, with a healthy profit, as they seemed to have reached a bit of a resistance level during december.
But still think this company is worth watching & would definitely buy back in when cash becomes available (i.e. when GOO stops buggering around).
I believe VLK goes ex-divi on the 31st, so sp may drop a little in jan.

judging from their company christmas dinner (only for about a dozen), the top management clearly reckons it had plenty to cheer about in 2006, and thus probably well into 2007

So you based your investment strategy on a bunch of chinless wonders getting tanked up at their Xmas dinner!!! Shame on you!!! :o)

not entirely ..... CEO was there; damn good restaurant as it happens (had cycled there from marlow, but that is another story!) ..... was already looking at the share having been battered all year about it by PP and decided it was worth a punt (see chart and post 245)

Management changes at Link Research.
On the 31st December 2006 Len Mann stood down as Managing Director of Link Research Ltd, in the culmination of management changes planned since the sale of Link to Vislink PLC by Len and David Mann in February 2005.
Len will now focus on his role on the board of Vislink and his role as Vislink's Chief Technical Officer. David continues to work for Link, designing antennas and providing technical consultancy and support.
Len Mann said "Building Link with my brother David has been a fantastic journey and weve had many challenges and achievements along the way. In todays wireless world there are as many new opportunities for Link as there have ever been. I am delighted that Link will move forward with a very strong team of directors and an excellent workforce. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped Link to become what it is today, including Links staff, cus! tomers, suppliers, several organisations and Vislink. I believe Link and Vislink have a very bright future ahead"

Not sure what is going on here, but may have something to do with the CEO exercising his 650k share options.
There doesn't seem to be any bad news on the horizon, so no cause for immediate alarm. I confess I sold at 98p, but will watch for another oportunity to get back in.
What we need is cynic here to give chart analysis info. Am I right in saying that resistance should be around the 80p level for the 200 DMA?

Doesnt matter what the chart says, a statement is due and it has to be convincing. Any support on the chart will mean nothing.
