CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

jeffmack - 19 Mar 2005 17:17 - 2444 of 24230

Just covered my Cheltenham losses on the rugby. Before last weekend I bet with two Irish boys Wales V Ireland for the 6 nations at 300 each.

A man's work is never done! I had to spend the day in the garden. We had the first BBQ of the year. I am still baffled as to why women can't cook on a BBQ and leave it to us men.

Morning, misty days here in Hastings.

Just watched the F1 GP, looks like it could be an interesting year for F1.

FEB for me then a day of paperwork.

Greystone - 20 Mar 2005 09:54 - 2447 of 24230

A nice sunny day here for the Palm Sunday parades. The first starts in an hour or so and they go one throughout the day until midnight. Lots of fireworks and bands (nothing in Spain ever happens quietly...) and copious amounts of beer and wine....

And Hilary was right, that was my bank that was in the news last week for the biggest ever attempted fraud.

UK police foil massive bank theft

Yeron Bolondi was arrested for money laundering and deception
Police in London say they have foiled one of the biggest attempted bank thefts in Britain.
The plan was to steal 220m ($423m) from the London offices of the Japanese bank Sumitomo Mitsui.

Computer experts are believed to have tried to transfer the money electronically after hacking into the bank's systems.

A man has been arrested by police in Israel after the plot was uncovered by the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit.

Unit members worked closely with Israeli police.

The investigation was started last October after it was discovered that computer hackers had gained access to Sumitomo Mitsui bank's computer system in London.

They managed to infiltrate the system with keylogging software that would have enabled them to track every button pressed on computer keyboards.

jeffmack, i think i probably won the competition but i dont like bubbly so can i have some nice north african grass instead? thankyou for running this competition and i am pleased that spaceman did not win because he does not know anything about horses. i still think spaceman might not be right about picking horses with great big numbers because they dont seem to be as fast.

jeffmack - 20 Mar 2005 11:00 - 2452 of 24230
