Victoria Oil & Gas said the Wouri River crossing will now be delayed by about 4-6 weeks. The remedial cost for this work will be the responsibility of drilling contractor Britanica Horizontal Directional Drilling Ltd.

Equipment problems experienced by Britanica during the final pipe pull under the Wouri River led to a decision to restart the pipe insertion and pull.

In addition to the river crossing, a second Britanica team, using a smaller horizontal directional drilling machine, will be laying 400m of pipe into the Magzi Estate and finalising the connection from the main line to the river crossing entry point.

These ancillary works are expected to be completed around the same time as the river crossing and accordingly, once the river crossing is complete, the first 3 customers at Magzi Estate are expected to commence consumption of gas.

Victoria Oil & Gas said 678 metres of gas pipe has successfully been laid under the Wouri River to the northern Bonaberi shore in Douala, Cameroon's major industrial city.

The laying of the 400mm pipe under the Wouri River extends the reach of the Gaz du Cameroun (GDC) gas supply network to a new industrial customer hub within Douala. To date, GDC has laid 860 metres of 400mm pipeline and 1,129 metres of branch spurs in the Bonaberi-Magzi Estate area.

This network will shortly be connected to the main pipeline, commissioned and ready to supply gas to new customers, following safety checks and flow testing.

Following this extension to the network, there are now three customers with signed gas supply agreements in place.

GDC, working ahead of the pipe-laying under the river, has already converted burners and completed downstream engineering work to these thermal customers so that they are now ready to be supplied with gas, increasing daily gas consumption levels and GDC's revenues.

Wouri River Pipeline Successfully Passes Pressure Tests
The Company announced on 29 October 2014 that the 400mm pipeline under the Wouri River had been successfully laid. The Company is now pleased to confirm that the hydraulic and pneumatic pressure tests on this pipeline have been completed satisfactorily.
The 678 metre pipeline under the Wouri River connects the existing network to a new hub on the Bonaberi shore in Douala, Cameroon's major industrial city.

Gaz du Cameroun will now connect the three near term customers to the pipeline already laid in the Bonaberi area and the Company will announce when these customers are online.

Victoria Oil & Gas said the first three thermal gas connections have been completed on the Bonaberi shore of the port-city of Douala, Cameroon and two customers are online.

The pipeline and PRMS unit to the third customer has been completed and commissioned. The connections have been completed by VOG's wholly owned subsidiary Gaz du Cameroun (GDC) within five weeks of the gas supply network being extended under the Wouri River to the Bonaberi shore.

The customers in Bonaberi are located close to the Wouri River crossing and have been linked to the main gas line via 3.5km of pipe that was laid during the main river crossing activities. The Bonaberi customers are all businesses involved in food production and will use gas for thermal purposes. The customers are; Sopriacam, a cooking oil and soap refinery, New Foods, a biscuit manufacturer and Sasel, a salt manufacturer.

In addition to the Bonaberi customers, SOTEX, a textile manufacturer, has been connected to the Douala city network and gas supply has also commenced.

All four customers were previously using Heavy Fuel Oil ("HFO") for boilers driving mechanical plant and processes. The GDC marketing and engineering teams worked with the senior management of these businesses to demonstrate the cost savings expected to occur following conversion to gas from HFO and then implemented individual engineering solutions that ensured an efficient conversion.

A production update will be made once new gas supply to Bonaberi can be measured over a reasonable time on an averaged basis.

Victoria Oil & Gas subsidiary Gaz du Cameroun S.A. (GDC) has signed a legally binding term sheet with ENEO Cameroon S.A (ENEO), Cameroon's integrated utility Company, to supply gas to two power stations located in the city of Douala.

GDC has also signed a legally binding term sheet with ENEO and Altaaqa Alternative Solutions Projects DWC-LLC (Altaaqa) a United Arab Emirates equipment supply company.

Altaaqa will provide power generation equipment and has responsibility for importing and installing the Gensets at the Douala power stations. GDC will work with Altaaqa to make the initial gas connections.

The term sheets have been signed to enable the project to be expedited to meet ENEO requirements and it is expected that these will be replaced by full contracts in early 2015.

The Agreement with ENEO is a major gas supply contract for VOG in terms of scale and profitability with guaranteed minimum take or pay gas consumption at a fixed US$9/mmbtu over the 2 year contract term. The contract can be extended by mutual agreement.

The take or pay element gives GDC the necessary incentives to allocate significant levels of gas to a single customer. The minimum take or pay levels are 9mmscf/d in the January-June dry season and 3mmscf/d in the July-December wet season.

GDC anticipates actual demand from ENEO will be higher than the minimum take or pay levels during both seasons. ENEO requires all 50MW of power to be online by the end of Q1 2015.

jaknap - 29 Dec 2014 16:02 - 2484 of 2511

i think end of january 2015 vog will be reaching at 1pound as long as people stop taking small profit and invest money for at least 6 months they will get atleast 40% OF there investment

3 monkies - 29 Dec 2014 16:52 - 2485 of 2511

I will have to wait a long time from when I bought when they were pence before their wonderful consolidation - had these for years - no profit for me here at £1. Just another one of my bad choices.

maggiebt4 - 29 Dec 2014 16:58 - 2486 of 2511

Sadly I'm in same shuck!

HARRYCAT - 29 Dec 2014 17:10 - 2487 of 2511

I think we have all waited eons for this to come good, but maybe the corner has been turned and the revenue stream will pick up now that gas is flowing and being paid for. Might be tempted to average down soon as VOG are trying to attract institutional investors on the back of the good news.

maestro - 03 Jan 2015 15:05 - 2488 of 2511

Well i bought at 39p so sitting on a good profit...will hold for a year and see how we do

Gas Pipeline Reaches ENEO Power Stations
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc announces that Gaz du Cameroun ("GDC") has completed laying pipeline to the boundaries of the ENEO Power Station properties at Bassa and Logbaba ahead of schedule. The 20 MW Bassa Power Station is located 0.3km from our operating northern pipeline and the 30 MW Logbaba Power Station is located 1.3km along the proposed eastern leg off our main line. The pipeline is currently under test and it is anticipated that testing will be completed by the end of this week.

ENEO requires both power stations to be on line and delivering 50MW by the end of Q1 2015 and GDC anticipates that it will complete all of its deliverables before that deadline.

GDC signed binding term sheets with ENEO in December 2014 to supply gas at minimum take or pay levels of 9mmscf/d in the January-June dry season and 3mmscf/d in the July-December wet season. The Agreement with ENEO is a major gas supply contract for VOG in terms of scale and profitability with guaranteed minimum take or pay gas consumption at a fixed US$9/mmbtu over the two year contract term. The contract can be extended by mutual agreement.

Victoria Oil & Gas has announced that its 100% owned subsidiary, Gaz du Cameroun ("GDC"), has made payment in full for the purchase of the Logbaba gas processing plant from Expro Worldwide.

The plant currently processes gas extracted from the GDC wells, producing condensate which is sold to a local refinery and clean natural gas which is distributed to customers through the 33km pipeline network in Douala, Cameroon.

It has been purchased for $2.578m, using cash generated from GDC operations, and the Board believes that this purchase will deliver significant cost savings.

GDC is evaluating proposals for a long term contract for the operation and maintenance of the plant with specialist service companies, including Expro.

Kevin Foo, executive chairman of GDC, said: "The purchase of the Logbaba plant is a key milestone for GDC, bringing with it significant cost savings which will enable us to continue to grow the business and increase shareholder value. We are now evaluating options for the plant expansion."
