looking good to breach its all-time high, too. It hit 53p in Jan; the highest offer price paid so far today is about 52.8.

PE still just under 12. Keep holding and run the prfi for as long as I have the nerve, is what I intend to do.

Contrast also the 1.5p spread with the 0.5p spread at the beginning of the week. I guess the MM's don't have as much stock as they did - wonder if a tree-shake might ensue.

It's mostly small trades, buys well over double sells.

Actually, this is the highest SP and PE in 6 years, so we are in uncharted territory.

10K buy just went through at 55p. MM's have kicked the bid down, 30K sold at 53p.

Unmoved today: WGB Bid: 52p Offer: 53p Change: 36k traded, looks like all sells.

They dont give a target but have tipped them twice before in April 06 and Feb 07 and say given the continuing recovery they still look cheap, also: Broker Kepler Teather & Greenwood Merrion edged up its forecasts, and now expects adjusted pre-tax profits of 2.6m (1.5m last year), with EPS of 4.5p (2.6p).

Heading up again this morning: WGB Bid: 52.5p Offer: 53p Change: 0.5 only 33K traded so far.

I baled out of my trading play in WGB today as the SP has dropped off: WGB Bid: 51p Offer: 52p Change: -1.25

If it gets back below 50p and the spread returns to that nice 0.5p, I might have another go at this.
