Newmark Security PLC : Moving Forward (NWT)

hornster - 18 Aug 2004 14:05

Newmark Security PLC is an integrated, high-value security solutions group in both physical and electronic products serving a world-wide market place.
The companies focus is on 'personal security and the safety of assets for which we deliver true security solutions in design, manufacture, installation and after-sales support and maintenance'.

Company recently acquired Custom Micro Products Limited.
CMP recorded turnover of approx 3.35 million
and pre-tax profits of 500,000 for the year ended 31 January 2004.

Recent director buying also suggests good value.

Speculative buy.

Shameless - 10 Mar 2005 12:15 - 25 of 64

hopefully a contract announcement would see nwt go north

moneyman - 24 May 2005 21:43 - 26 of 64

Started to move up again. Nice little proitable company with a dismal share price.

BUY

moneyman - 07 Jun 2005 21:40 - 27 of 64

Oh yes. Nice Director buys and the SP has started to recover. Watch this closely as lot's of interested parties looking at this one.

Could be very interesting if a buying wave starts as it was little volume/value which moved this up indicating that stock is hard to come by.

miles2875 - 08 Jun 2005 11:50 - 28 of 64

Seymour Pierce put out a buy recommendation on 19 May when the sp was 2.77p, at these prices its a screaming buy and 3p should be easy

IMHO

ptholden - 08 Jun 2005 11:53 - 29 of 64

How's GON doing Miles? This another pump n dump routine?

moneyman - 20 Aug 2005 22:44 - 30 of 64

Good to see that they have dumped the only loss making side of the business. Although the stock has dropped a little they should now be a very lean profitable little organisation.

I'm buying at anything less than 2.5p

moneyman - 15 Sep 2005 22:23 - 31 of 64

Good set of results so why the drop.

Nice rise today. Something brewing ?

moneyman - 30 Nov 2005 23:46 - 34 of 64

Looks like it's time to buy this one.

moneyman - 02 Dec 2005 10:56 - 35 of 64

Suprised people are not picking up on this one with it's cheap valuation especially as the company is profitable.

moneyman - 13 Dec 2005 12:55 - 36 of 64

Looking good so far.

moneyman - 15 Dec 2005 22:17 - 37 of 64

Taken from ADVFN

Suprise article in tomorrows IC.

Buy recomendation....may entice some in Friday and early next week.

Not sure when this was written as it has the share price at 1.5p

NEWMARK SECURITY (NWT)

Newmark reported "healthy" orders a year ago, and they, plus the acquisition of CMP - a supplier of time and attendance hardware - boosted 2004-05 sales. But the latest results were disappointing due to losses from two businesses set up to sell electromagnetic locking systems and architectural ironmongery. Their discontinued losses shaved 734,000 off profits. However, 2005-06 figures should be better, particularly in the second half. Note that year-end cash balances are earmarked for CMP's deferred consideration of 1.2m, and a maximum payout of 3.5m for Grosvenor software in October 2007.

The shares don't expect much of a profit recovery, but might be surprised. Buy.

moneyman - 19 Dec 2005 09:24 - 38 of 64

Starting to move back higher having been very oversold. Expect to see this over 2p by the time of results next month.

moneyman - 19 Dec 2005 15:03 - 39 of 64

Nice move higher today. Certainly seems to be on a roll. Nice buy of half a million at 1.7p gone through as well.

Maybe 2p end of the week ;-)

moneyman - 20 Dec 2005 10:51 - 40 of 64

Good day for holders yesterday and now moving to attack the 200SMA. If it goes then somewhere over 2p is on the cards.

Could be a nice little trade to pay for christmas.

moneyman - 20 Dec 2005 21:20 - 41 of 64

Few buys into day and consolidation. Talk on iii of a contract with RBOS which would be very nice.

Hopefully up tomorrow.

moneyman - 27 Dec 2005 15:14 - 42 of 64

Nice move higher on little volume showing MMs now have little stock available. Nice tight spread should see this move higher quickly when markets open.

moneyman - 10 May 2006 14:54 - 43 of 64

Now is the tme to buy IMO. didn't realise these had got so cheap.

schiff - 10 May 2006 17:48 - 44 of 64

I never thought I'd live to see another post on this - so well done moneyman!

SP been drifting around for some time now, mainly down, and there never seemed to have been much by way of news. I need it to go to 1.43p just to break even, so I'm mildly encouraged by your comment
