AFC Energy plc (AFC)

greekman - 22 Oct 2010 16:39 - 250 of 1468

Amazing that I am now looking at an sp close of 1.75p up on the day and am fairly disappointed. Just goes to show how we have come to expect a daily rise of more magnitude.
Another great week for AFC.
Closing a very happy investor.

This bunch of abusive retards is the reason MoneyAM will NEVER have a forum worth reading.

I have reported them to support by they do nothing, either because they want to force me to PAY them for the Traders Room or because they are too lazy to do anything. Maybe the people in support are the ones perpetrating the abuse, so as to force people to pay for the premium boards. Either way the service is sh1te and a disgrace to the finance industry. No wonder there is nobody left here apart from morons.

I will continue posting my good research on boards that are run in accordance with FSA and LSE listing rules and the interests of the market, not here where ar5eh0les rule the boards and all decent research is buried under their piles of sh1te.

On several sites, punters have often tried to value AFC's currant and future sp, but how can we.
On fundamentals AFC is quite a bit overvalued.
On potential they are vastly undervalued.
The main difference is fundamentals are just that, sort of solid and present now IE fairly easy to value, whilst potentials are the future IE extremely difficult, almost impossible to value.
With the majority of companies, especially the big cap companies, fundamentals are the main area to concentrate on with their potential being less so and usually written into the sp.
These companies, if the sp increases it does so at usually a nice steady pace.
You sort of know where you are with the likes of Tesco, Glaxo, Reckitts and BP, OK perhaps not BP but you get the point.
But with a company like AFC, how the hell can anyone even attempt to write 'potential' into the sp, when the future looks so unbelievably good.
What I am sure of is that there appears to be no better company in the markets regarding that one futuristic forward looking word 'potential'.

Now broke the 50p barrier. It went from .5p up to 2.5p up within seconds. I expect a bit of retrenchment during the day, but if the 50p level holds, this is really looking good.

And so the rise continues.....loads of buying in the last 10 days....

greekman - 25 Oct 2010 10:09 - 257 of 1468

Only one thing to say at the moment. Bloody Hell.

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 10:21 - 258 of 1468

i concur, but there is no news and it always worries me with stocks that are solely under the control of MMs ..... and again (RF) many thanks for mugging me and opening my wallet to buy some of these!

Some punters on another thread are saying, 1 by Xmas.

Don't usually mention another companies shares on a thread, but, I remember when there were multiple posts regarding another share of, '1 by Christmas'. In fact for those who were in it at the time, Stanelco, the saying was 35 by Xmas. That share is now languishing at .04p.
Well 3 things spring to mind.

1 In no way is this another Stanelco, as they have a product many are interested in and will soon be queuing up to buy.

2 AFC management appear to be doing a fantastic job.

3 The way this share is going, the only way for this to reach 1 by Xmas is for Xmas to come a few weeks early.

It is getting even more difficult to not be carried away with this share.

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 10:22 - 260 of 1468

especially without something of substance to support

greekman - 25 Oct 2010 10:25 - 261 of 1468

Cynic,

I agree. It is still pretty much built on potential. I am keeping my feet on the ground, and might, just might, join a few who are selling just enough so that the remainder of their holdings are having a free ride.

niceonecyril - 25 Oct 2010 10:35 - 262 of 1468

GM yes,how does one value such a company, your point of overvalued on fundimentals but undervalued on potential seems to cover it? Mind you not complaining just sitting back and enjoying the ride.

i only have a 30% stake here (at cost) so for me not worth selling just part

30% of your total share holding ?

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 11:17 - 266 of 1468

get a brain cell! ..... not of my total portfolio!!!!
anyway, i came to the conclusion "too far too fast" and have banked the profit at 59.50

required field - 25 Oct 2010 11:24 - 267 of 1468

Sorry....what is the 30%..?.....think of getting back in soon...more companies will be signing up to this soon...

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 12:13 - 268 of 1468

i have a notional "norm stake" ..... it follows that 30% is 30% of that!

greekman - 25 Oct 2010 14:05 - 269 of 1468

RF,

I also found Cynics post a bit confusing. We must both be a bit thick.
It is always far easier for the person stating something to understand it than it is for another person reading it.
I have sometimes posted or said, some statement that to me is as clear as day, but others have found to be as clear as mud, (especially to my wife).

I have always liked the following saying of which there are several interpretations,

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Cynic... No offense intended.
