Texas

Range Resources Limited ("Range" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that
the Albrecht #1 Appraisal well on the Company's North Chapman Ranch Project in
Texas is currently drilling ahead at a depth of 9,150 ft. with a target depth
of 14,500 ft.

The Albrecht # 1 appraisal well marks another milestone in the Company's
onshore Texas drilling program, as if successful, it is anticipated to prove up
reserves in the South East portion of the North Chapman Ranch license area, and
support a re-classification of current Possible (P3) reserves into the Probable
(P2) and Proved (P1) categories.

Following on from the Albrecht #1 well, the joint venture has the option to
continue with the development of the field with a possible four-well program in
2012 under discussion among the joint venture partners.

I was wondering if us as shareholders could have your comments on the below rumour

"PL will sell all Range assets in 1 transaction, at same stage soon after 1st July 2012. There is a pre-agreed sale price (not as high as we would've liked, perhaps no more than $1 per share). Therefore PL and those institutions involved need to control the news and Mcap.

In exchange for PL shafting us all, he gets to accept an offered for a position on the board (approx $5m P/A) along with a lathe number of shares and options in a $30+ company.

Looks like major progress at last. The ceremony will get huge coverage from the media.
Great news for RRL and the country, with the 1st drill in 20 yrs.

And up in the UK- Oz always follows the UK hence the RNS only out in Oz today.

Red Emperor Resources says spudding of Puntland well imminent

Oil explorer Red Emperor Resources (LON:RMP) says it sees no specific reason for the reason for the movement in its share price but does indicate that drilling on its 'landmark' well in Puntland, Somalia is 'drawing close'.

In a statement the Company said: 'We are not aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced and which, if known, could be an explanation for recent trading in the securities of the Company. As has been disclosed to the market on a regular basis, Red Emperor is earning a 20% interest in two highly prospective oil & gas blocks in Puntland, Somalia.

'The first exploration well to be drilled as part of a two well program is due to spud shortly. This landmark well will be the first to be drilled in Puntland in over 20 years and is targeting an enormous potential oil in place of close to 1 billion barrels. While drilling has not yet commenced, it is drawing very close and a comprehensive update will be released upon spudding.'

At 12:31pm: (LON:RMP) share price was +1p at 19p
