lol!

optomistic - 21 Mar 2005 21:53 - 2510 of 24230

Rhubarb! is it scarce in your areas? up here in Yorkshire you can have as much as you want in a few weeks. I always stock up in the freezer, crumbles throughout the year :-))

STORMCALLER - 21 Mar 2005 22:40 - 2511 of 24230

Evening all,

Popped in for some well earned refreshment after a hard day practising being lazy. Getting reasonably adept, though sojourn into garden for a spot of pond attention blotted copy-book. Bubbly I think, to round off pleasant day.

STORMCALLER - 22 Mar 2005 00:51 - 2512 of 24230

Would you believe it, engineered serene day, then end up chasing stops from here, there and everywhere in the middle of the bloody night to rescue FX positions, need another drink bigtime!

STORMCALLER - 22 Mar 2005 01:16 - 2513 of 24230

This rather unreliable bottle seems to be empty, must be a sign I should be somewhere else!
Gotta blow,
Goodnight all,

SC

daves dazzlers - 22 Mar 2005 08:29 - 2514 of 24230

Morning all,wet & windy thats a change most welcome.

Spaceman - 22 Mar 2005 08:30 - 2515 of 24230

Morning all, much better today no soar throat or headache, still got a bit of earache but I have been prone to that since I was very young, my sister has the same problem.

So a latte and then a day catching up and working, working from home today and hoping P will be along later with some LDC, Lambkings asks me about it every day ;-)

compoundup - 22 Mar 2005 10:21 - 2516 of 24230

Spaceman are you sure that earache has nothing to do with your enthusiasm for things that fly and the associated noise ;-)

My father in law, who completed his training with Bomber Command just as peace broke out in Europe calls his problem "lanc.-ear"

Mmm...The coffee here is definitely worth the trip

Spaceman - 22 Mar 2005 10:44 - 2517 of 24230

compoundup, wish it was !

Glad you like the coffee, the foods excellent as well and extreemly low calorie ....

compoundup - 22 Mar 2005 11:23 - 2518 of 24230

Speaking of flying...here is a little project I built a few years ago on its maiden flight. Not quite Concorde - in fact given a decent headwind you could almost get negative ground-speed but short field performance - wow.

Hi everyone the pooch here for a cuppa.

compoundup, What a fantastic project! Is it built from your own spec or some kind of build-your-own-plane package?

btw, the pooch is free and single again just the way he likes it. I can concentrate on the Bods more.

compoundup - 22 Mar 2005 14:17 - 2520 of 24230

It was a kit based on a pre-welded tubular fuselage, some wing spars and 14 boxes of bits. It arrived on the day I got married. It took 3 years and about 1200 hours to knock it into shape. I'm still working on Mrs C.

daves dazzlers - 22 Mar 2005 14:19 - 2521 of 24230

Nice picture compound, who`s flying the beast ?

Goldie ,you should come with us boys to chester races,,some fine fillys there and the horses are not to bad either.

Poor us a pint thats a good dog.

stockbunny - 22 Mar 2005 14:20 - 2522 of 24230

Afternoon All!
Sorry lunch was cancelled due to the kitchen staff having to deal
with a delivery and taking their time about it. ;>)

OK sarnies can be rustled up if anyone wants, there's plenty of
cold roast chicken, smoked salmon, cheddar and liver sausage and lots
of tasty green leaves (ok salad) and tomatoes and coleslaw!

Priscilla yes sorry I had to depart, the call of the ironing and dinner!
:>)

Golddog - 22 Mar 2005 14:22 - 2523 of 24230

Compoundup, I got to fly a Tiger moth last year - great fun!! but to fly your own hand-built plane must be a great achievement and a very full-filling ambition. I'm sure Mrs C was chuffed to pieces.

compoundup - 22 Mar 2005 14:26 - 2524 of 24230

DD. I took the photo. As I was new to the "type" I needed an type-experienced person with no nerves about flying someone else's creation. Had to go all the way to Walkerburn in the Borders to find someone daft enough.

He took it once around the field then I went dual with him for the real testing before I could get it signed off and insured.

Golddog - 22 Mar 2005 14:28 - 2525 of 24230

afternoon DD and bun buns.

Ok poured you a pint DD, i think i would be better off going to the greyhounds!!

daves dazzlers - 22 Mar 2005 14:30 - 2526 of 24230

Dont be a daft dog,you want them to come up to your shoulder at least.

stockbunny - 22 Mar 2005 14:32 - 2527 of 24230

LOL Afternoon chaps!!
