Fed up of shearing tops and using decimal points.

Hi GF havnt spoken in a while , doing ok ,luckily i was only holding two stocks and a couple of spread bets when we wobbled so now looking to get in on a few bargains.

GF - do you mean "scalping tops" :-)

NO LOL shearing the bastards. Its my way of controling risk.

What I do is use the 2.5 to 1 win risk stop loss system pushed by many trading books but dont use the stops, but know what my SP target is but instead of say going for £50 a point I go £55 a point the fiver being thier so I can shear the top on any losing trade in markets like this.

If its a dud trade I get rid very quickly. I know my losing limit up front.

But this system allows me to stay in when its not specific to one stock.

When the market turns any bunce left is a bonus.

Yep Jimmy seems you are OK. Bird up on twitter s just said berwanky is out later, so wonder if we are going to get some form of QE to stop the rot.

AEP is looking hot on the bullish stocks. Might have some of that action tomorrow.

This market has frightened me for 18months.

But the remark of there will be one hell of a bull market will probably right.


There is a lot of money which disappeared from the market and waiting on the sidelines.

Possibly, praying that their coinage won't devalued in one way or another.

Weighting towards Bearish stocks goes on as the market is in general decline.

Flogged all my trading longs bar RPO and HSBC this morning. Greeks going to another elections then all that farting about after.... like before christmas. Rather take a small loss than a big one 6 weeks down lines.

Made this strategic decision in the pub late last night after 10 pints and I had crawled all the way there after market closed at 4.30.

Their are temptations around with all these stock so cheap but they will probably be cheaper further down the track.
