Any idea what caused the downward slump? Couldn't see anything untoward in the trades when I looked.
Looks like the best buying opportunity we are probably going to see on this one.

sterling is performing badly as is the oil sector last six weeks. needs some positive news. sector reacting to fall of oil high 55 dollar pb rapid drop to around 40 although up on year.

One trade just before close for 500k sell. That was what it needed.

Unlike other oil stocks it stayed level all day till then with equal trading.

Drilling report tomorrow is Tiof 5 and is the last one, any more will be production drills.

I now own a fistful of HNR too. Bargain price for them and heavily discounted imo, as are SEY.

I intend to visit Forex and make helpful comments.

Hilary should appreciate that.

Tiof 5 is a boundry finding hole so may be "Not commercial" quantities in respect of hyrocarbons.

None of us like to see others lose money, but fact, we all will at some point. Today Hilary might be the winner on this one, tomorrow it might be your turn.

Despite Hils comments I bought a few today at 14.5p, tomorrow I might regret it, who knows.

what a day what a day. lets focus here. we are in for a medium to long term punt and the fact is that on any given day we can see a stock or sector be under pressure on thin volume.
