Some rather sizable buys on HNR...what's a VW trade, or is it a trade in.

Hilary is harmless and is entitled to her opinion. Stocks are there to be traded, long and short. No one said this thread was only for people buying SEY. None of us like to see others lose money, but fact, we all will at some point. Today Hilary might be the winner on this one, tomorrow it might be your turn.
Despite Hils comments I bought a few today at 14.5p, tomorrow I might regret it, who knows.
You pays your money you makes your choices.

what a day what a day. lets focus here. we are in for a medium to long term punt and the fact is that on any given day we can see a stock or sector be under pressure on thin volume.

ps Ian is it possible to have annoying insignificant fleas (hilary) banned from a thread when their sole point of posting is to deliberately incite 99% of other posters? that picture was childish and should be removed. cheers sir.

exactly, recipies may be a bit irrelevant (ok a lot) but they lighten the mood on dull days and are a bit of a laugh on down or up days - and bloody useful some day!

jeffmack you are unfiltered.
jeffmack - novice punters, (me), are easily influenced by people who purport to know what they are about!
I am not novice enough anymore not to know to make my own decisons about my hard earned cash.
I do, some I win, some I lose.
What I do not want to see is someone deliberately taking the piss every time the tick goes down.
We can all see it, and do not necessarily think that we have made a bad judgemental error of buying a stock when this happens.
As I have pointed out before on other boards, a tick does does not make me want to commit hara kiri!
Hilary is likened by me to my sister, and she, (my sister) is a cruel bitch who likes to see others in distress. If they are not in distress, then she tries to provoke that situation.
Hilary has sold out SEY after blatent ramping of this stock on the Traders Thread. You saw it and so did many others. I did not comment when I saw it, as I do not normally take note of this activity. I know others were influenced in that bb. into buying the stock on her recommendation. All this with minimal homework on the Company in question.
She obviously sold out with a minor profit, more likely a loss, and it seems now that all she wants is for everyone to make a loss. Look back through her comments and you will see there is nothing, repeat NOTHING, constructive since she sold out.
This does not mean she is short on the stock, I doubt she is! I doubt she has the bottle to hold a short position on this because she does not know the facts.
Her position is 'If I can't have it, nor can you!'
As I said, my sister is a cruel bitch!
Now you work it out for yourself, and by the way what has ROLF MAYO got to do with anything?

Hilary doesnt need defending my me, shes more than a match for most. But just look at her contribution and help she gives people on the forex thread, I know its hard for some people to lighten up when they are losing money, but in this game you just gotta keep a good sense of humour, come what may.

She has not tried to be funny.
I am not yet losing money on SEY, or at least I am not yet in the red on these so that is not the issue.
I have tied in profit a few times having held Fusion Oil stock so I am a long way from that.
I know she helps people on the Forex thread, I have looked.
I question why she has to behave in such a nasty vindictive way on this thread?
I have made my mind up, now it's up to others to do the same if they have a view at all!
As has been suggested, perhaps she would do better sticking to her own area of expertise, Forex!

One thing that is rather interesting, is that for someone who seems to think this share is a waste of time, she obviously watches it like a hawk, being the first person to comment(snidely of course) as soon as the share price dips.

honestly... you really need to get out more. Hils is a superb trader and I am still trying to understand where you are coming from!!!
SEY, when she mentioned it was a great 'in' for a long..it then faltered and with everything in the mining and oil industry, news flow and oil/commodity prices count for a HEAPin the share action. As it was I do believe there was a placing..... time to sell IMHO...so I did and so did Hilary...hmm good trading in my book!
Hilary always comments on crap share prices/charts in relation to rocking horse poo....and at the moment it is rocking horse poo!!!
When factors improve it could possibly be a good long again, that is why when one sells a share , one continues to monitor its progress thereafter!!
By the way, have you bought a chateau with your share trading profits?!!!!

SWW,
You won't be able to read this of course because you've filtered me, but I'll say it nonetheless. You really are very wet behind the ears!
Yes, if ramping means light hearted bantering about a rising share price, then I'm guilty as charged. And, as you say, I struggled to make a profit (might even have made a loss) as the price rose from 15.5 offer to 19.25 bid when I closed. The 24% clear rise on a 30% funded position meant that I didn't even double my money. And it took a few weeks to realise the gain. Poor trade!
And then there's the matter of the 18.25 short. What was the closing offer last night? 14.75 was it? That's only a 20% drop. Yet another naff trade. I really do need this to be a penny before Crimbo so I can get the turkey. Otherwise it'll probably be baked beans on toast again.
Oh and one other small thing. On the day of the rns when I closed out shortly after 8am for that "loss" ..... can you guess which 250k was mine?
