SWW,
You won't be able to read this of course because you've filtered me, but I'll say it nonetheless. You really are very wet behind the ears!
Yes, if ramping means light hearted bantering about a rising share price, then I'm guilty as charged. And, as you say, I struggled to make a profit (might even have made a loss) as the price rose from 15.5 offer to 19.25 bid when I closed. The 24% clear rise on a 30% funded position meant that I didn't even double my money. And it took a few weeks to realise the gain. Poor trade!
And then there's the matter of the 18.25 short. What was the closing offer last night? 14.75 was it? That's only a 20% drop. Yet another naff trade. I really do need this to be a penny before Crimbo so I can get the turkey. Otherwise it'll probably be baked beans on toast again.
Oh and one other small thing. On the day of the rns when I closed out shortly after 8am for that "loss" ..... can you guess which 250k was mine?

hilary you are filtered.
Jules, shame others dont see her like that!
Others also see her as I have described.
Before you comment read all the entries.
If she dont like it, then my advice is still stay away!
As I said, the end.

RE: MAURITANIA DRILLING PROGRAMME
WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT
Hardman Resources Ltd ('Hardman') provides the following weekly progress report
on the Mauritania offshore drilling programme:
Tiof-5 Appraisal Well - PSC B
Progress and Current Status:
Since the last report (7 December) the Stena Tay drilled the Tiof-5 appraisal
well to the final total depth of 3,010 metres and commenced wireline logging.
Preliminary interpretation of logs acquired while drilling and by wireline
logging, including fluid sampling and downhole pressure measurements, indicates
the well has intersected a gross oil column of at least 23 metres in several
individual sands of variable thickness. Potential for a greater hydrocarbon
column exists in this well and may be confirmed by the wireline logging
programme. The well has encountered some excellent quality sands.
At midnight on 13 December wireline logging and the evaluation of well data was
continuing. Upon completion of wireline logging the Stena Tay will move to the
Chinguetti Field and join the West Navigator on the development drilling
programme.
Well Location:
The Tiof-5 well is located approximately 2.7 kilometres east of the Tiof-1
discovery well. Water depth is 993 metres.
Tiof appraisal programme:
The 2004/2005 Tiof appraisal programme was designed to evaluate the field by
drilling representative wells in various parts of the field and different
reservoir types, as predicted from 3D seismic. All the wells were successfully
drilled, including the planned sidetrack and coring of Tiof-3, and the results
were generally in line with predrill expectations for the wells. Tiof-3 was
suspended because of mechanical problems during the preparations for testing.
The joint venture is planning a fourth appraisal well (Tiof-6) in January 2005
and our current expectation is that this well will be flow tested for
information on reservoir deliverability and performance.
The results of all the wells to date, the planned Tiof-6 well and test results,
and the 3D seismic (including new data acquired in 2004) will be incorporated in
a number of reservoir models during 2005 to determine the range of reserves and
the development options.
Chinguetti Development Drilling
The West Navigator drill ship continued operations on the Chinguetti development
wells and will be joined by the Stena Tay upon completion of the Tiof-5 well.
The West Navigator is drilling and casing the top holes, and the Stena Tay will
drill and case the bottom holes through the reservoir interval. Upon completion
of the top holes the West Navigator is expected to drill the next Tiof appraisal
well.
Hardman Resources does not intend to provide detailed weekly reports during the
course of the development well drilling programme but will report significant
matters as appropriate.
Other information:
All reported depths are referenced to the rig rotary table (except water depth).
Times and dates refer to Mauritania time (GMT), 8 hours behind Western Standard
Time, Perth.
A map showing the location of the wells will be available on the Hardman website
(
www.hdr.com.au
) and will be updated during the course of the 2004/2005 drilling
programme.
The remaining 2004/05 drilling programme will include wells in two production
sharing contract areas (PSC's). The government has exercised its right to
participate in the Chinguetti development. Joint venture interests in those
areas are:

Click on the name you want to remove it gives you the profile and ability to squelch the person, do that and they are history on this thread.

sandrew HNR - no bad thing getting in this am..........
Still loads in it, price is heavily discounted, probably by 1/3rd
If Tiof 5 is backed to Tiof 1 & 2, this is a VERY big field.

Ian was asked on this board to intervene yesterday, I note nothing happened. I expect there are too many items to watch to keep up with one board.
Filtering is the first option I think.
All the best for today, I am now gone.

Have read through the thread and it seems that people got a little heated yesterday - can we all stick to the topic and not the posters please - everyone is entitled to their opinion be that positive or negative, but please can we all try to express those opinions in the correct way,
Sermon over,

good morning all. early meeting so i have only just caught up with the thread.
SWW, i wholeheartily agree with your posts regarding Hilary. we can all swing with the punches but what is the point if you have someone rubbing salt in the wound at every opportunity. I have to say that i have posted negative thoughts on various names but ALWAYS substantiated it and at worst would agree to disagree with fellow posters. I can also take the flack when i am overly bullish (ESY) and others may disagree but i will listen and respect the views of all the comments without it getting into a slagging match or posting pathetic pictures.
banter and gossip aside, i believe we have some good news this morning!

honestly, that is a large part of why i log on and participate on this BB. without it the days are longer and I really enjoy catching up with the latest news, recipies and trivia.
By the way, you know my childs play i went to yesterday, well we have part 2 today for my youngest. yesterday they had this 6 year kid playing a perfect rendition of rudolf the red nosed reindeer on a violin. it was bloody fantastic - and no it wasn't my son, he was magnificent with a small speech solo and was pitch perfect in the chorus! my youngest son (3) is dressed as a cat today...i will give you a full report later!

I see Hilary is still causing consternation on this thread. It is the control and predictable reaction which is the payoff for the quasi-inflammatory language. It is all so very understandable. Who cares who says what.
J P Sartre (for it is he) had a word for individuals who conduct themselves in thought, word or deed in bad faith - SCUM. He also noted that quite frankly almost all humankind do things in bad faith because it is human nature to be greedy and selfish. (also premeditation comes into the mix).
If you are old enough to vote you are old enough to make up your own mind taken all known things into consideration. Individuals who do things in bad faith tend to have to be more and more outrageous in order to have their message heard and understood. If you have a need for such, for whatever reason, so be it. It doesn't mean that it is wrong or unnecessary for this to be voiced - just that the intention is understood, hopefully by all.
Lets not forget it is only play money after all.
Lecture over. Calm down, calm down.
Happy hunting
