Have read through the thread and it seems that people got a little heated yesterday - can we all stick to the topic and not the posters please - everyone is entitled to their opinion be that positive or negative, but please can we all try to express those opinions in the correct way,

Sermon over,

Ian

good morning all. early meeting so i have only just caught up with the thread.

SWW, i wholeheartily agree with your posts regarding Hilary. we can all swing with the punches but what is the point if you have someone rubbing salt in the wound at every opportunity. I have to say that i have posted negative thoughts on various names but ALWAYS substantiated it and at worst would agree to disagree with fellow posters. I can also take the flack when i am overly bullish (ESY) and others may disagree but i will listen and respect the views of all the comments without it getting into a slagging match or posting pathetic pictures.

banter and gossip aside, i believe we have some good news this morning!

Seem to be a lot of stale bulls buying more and the deramper has gone very quiet - still her prediction for a penny on the share price today is nearly there

proptrade - 14 Dec 2004 12:50 - 2594 of 7811

honestly, that is a large part of why i log on and participate on this BB. without it the days are longer and I really enjoy catching up with the latest news, recipies and trivia.

By the way, you know my childs play i went to yesterday, well we have part 2 today for my youngest. yesterday they had this 6 year kid playing a perfect rendition of rudolf the red nosed reindeer on a violin. it was bloody fantastic - and no it wasn't my son, he was magnificent with a small speech solo and was pitch perfect in the chorus! my youngest son (3) is dressed as a cat today...i will give you a full report later!

I see Hilary is still causing consternation on this thread. It is the control and predictable reaction which is the payoff for the quasi-inflammatory language. It is all so very understandable. Who cares who says what.
J P Sartre (for it is he) had a word for individuals who conduct themselves in thought, word or deed in bad faith - SCUM. He also noted that quite frankly almost all humankind do things in bad faith because it is human nature to be greedy and selfish. (also premeditation comes into the mix).
If you are old enough to vote you are old enough to make up your own mind taken all known things into consideration. Individuals who do things in bad faith tend to have to be more and more outrageous in order to have their message heard and understood. If you have a need for such, for whatever reason, so be it. It doesn't mean that it is wrong or unnecessary for this to be voiced - just that the intention is understood, hopefully by all.
Lets not forget it is only play money after all.
Lecture over. Calm down, calm down.
Happy hunting
Nam

The Other Kevin - 14 Dec 2004 14:28 - 2596 of 7811

This is begining to remind me of some of the TAD threads......

seawallwalker - 14 Dec 2004 14:40 - 2597 of 7811

I'm back!

Horray!

See things are okay across the blue board today.

Cwikey, I called HNR right........... now do I sell my 1/4 million or not................????????

Nahhhhhh...................

namreh3 thanks for the excellent J P post, met all of those through my career, they do exist unfortunately and in the numbers and way portrayed.

People can either supress it or they can't. It develops in childhood you know even at an infantile level! I could go on with further examination but it is too deep a subject for this board no matter how diverse the subjects.

Moving on; chicken today cooked in the good old chicken brick!

Stuffed half an orange in it to give it a nice flavour.

Got to get on with the veg so absent for a bit longer.

Thanks Ian for those words, I would hate to see moneyam turn into another advfnon some threads!)

Loads of rampers and nutters there!

Best stay off those types of sites and threads, all imho of course!

namreh3 - 14 Dec 2004 14:45 - 2598 of 7811

;>) SWW.
TAD threads The Other Kevin?

namreh3 - 14 Dec 2004 14:51 - 2599 of 7811

Got it!

seawallwalker - 14 Dec 2004 15:07 - 2600 of 7811

namreh3 - no............. not at all. Wonder what you found?

PRE thread there(ADVFN) is a particularly nasty one.

Have a look and see, usual think punters lost money, people gloating overtly, hang it worse than that!!

I hate scum!

Some lost a fortune, imagine buying at 25p on momentum and then the crash to current 12-14p range.

All because of Management Spin or at least that's what I think in respect of the Danbury Dome drill, i.e.of 50 billion cubic feet of gas were identified?? The drill found 1 (one) billion cubic feet of gas.

Loads of recriminations, I feel really sorry for those taken in which is just about all of them I think.

Last thing needed is someone taking the rise which is happening every other post.

Sad.

namreh3 - 14 Dec 2004 15:12 - 2601 of 7811

Sorry SWW - only meant to indicate I had found thread mentioned. No comment as to content. Sorry for confusion.

seawallwalker - 14 Dec 2004 15:14 - 2602 of 7811

Edit?

No worries.

Back to the veg.

namreh3 - 14 Dec 2004 15:19 - 2603 of 7811

No idea as to edit. Technophobe!

sandrew64 - 14 Dec 2004 15:36 - 2604 of 7811
