Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

With this under their belt it opens many doors.
They still have fabulous exploration targets like Fox, Stephens and Jason all very close to Sea Lion and totaling around 1 Billion barrels recoverable potential.
Add that into a 2011 exploration campaign, and also appraising Sea Lion and moving that up to say 500 million barrels or near to it, recoverable.
The sky is the limit, in 18 months time over 2000p is possible as is over 3000p.
As I keep saying, once in a lifetime chance to join in. Buy them fully paid for, lock them away and ignore market swings, crashes and whatever..... stay focussed on the goal.
DES is still very high risk - I do hold and hope they strike with Rachel.
RKH is now undervalued based on a whopping commercial oil find, with lots to come.
P.S. Did I mention about Pierre saying Sea Lion is the BIGGEST fan play in the NFB and the implications of that ...... ;) like wow Sea Lion might be world class 500 million recoverable barrels and its all 100% owned by RKH !!

Thinking out loud as you do.....if Sealion is considered to be the biggest fan...does that mean the other wells to be drilled could be dusters....only time will tell.,.

anyone care to comment.... I think that on Monday morning 0800 the SP will open ~10p up and climb to 450p a share until approx 0815-0830 when the profit takers will swoop in and SP will drop to opening levels or under before then climbing again to test new highs later in the morning.
i realise this is crystal ball territory but hopefully after the w/end press pick up on this and the glut of buyers on the L2 hopefully still wanting in then this may play out.
Alex
i currently hold and plan to do so for some time to come.
