regardless of which party wins the most seats at the election, take it that we'll have a wishy-washy hung parliament with widow twanky as pm, so what sector(s) are most likely to benefit?
imo, best bets must be lower-range housebuilders and infrastructure construction companies?
i don't fancy backing any in the financial sector, as i think that remains an augean stable
supermarkets look to have too much pressure on their margins for comfort
drug and electronics? ..... maybe, but in small doses
clever choice of oilies - perhaps BP even - may give rich pickings too
meanwhile, the stock indices are likely to remain very volatile so with care and caution, money to be made on both dow and ftse in both directions - skinny and shortie will probably be buying yachts with their quality plays :-)
anyone else fancy a prediction?

I haven't played the FTSE since last week as it became even more irrational (to me).
Here's the only
yacht that I'll be buying - but where an I going to find a wooden pond!

i'm afraid i didn't follow any of sticky's latest leads ..... nice to see that he's on a good run though
however, i do hold some ITV and good to see them gently heading north

Hey yep noticed ITV breaking out earlier on. I do hold check the thread. Boring ride up though. Can understand Fred getting out.
Always a slow coach ITV. Might be the sympathy vote for Deidrie..........she was a lovely women shame she as been taken so early at the age of 60.

Can't see me ever buying a yacht, couldn't think of a worse investment. I would however consider a fort in the Solent or something similar! Mind you I'd better get some trades on if that's the case, haven't much felt like playing the spreads this week so far.

Well done Cynic, looks great for a short play turn.
735 I think will be the pivotal-point.

Lookfor the butterfly and ask it.

you're right fred, and i should follow the old adage, "if in doubt, do nowt"
RTN - may bank my profit, but shan't short, though i see the logic - eg just nosing into new high ground so could be vulnerable
