Easyjet - on for a bounce? (EZJ)

soul traders - 11 May 2007 08:44

Just a heads-up for any traders out there. Easyjet seems to be bouncing back after its 20% fall during the week.

MM's seem to be walking the price up.

Right now we have EZJ Bid: 608.5p Offer: 609p Change: 11, was up 13 a few minutes back.

"The Board is recommending an increased ordinary dividend to shareholders of £180 million or 45.4 pence a share based on its enhanced ordinary dividend policy of paying out 40% of annual profit after tax.'

40% Payed back in divi s, is that generous or normal going or not in terms of companies policy?

goldfinger - 18 Nov 2014 09:33 - 267 of 408

Not sure Stan I go for capital appreciation and hardly bother with Divis.

Think Skinny will be your man for this.

Fred will have a good idea aswel I think.

If one is looking for income only, I would say there are better opportunities
elsewhere unless there is also a special divi as last year. However, capital growth
with income makes this relatively attractive as things stand imo, even though
the sp has more or less stagnated recently. For now, I think things are looking up.

If there is an eventual change at the top, things might change in the short run:
