Energy Technique - Will this be one of the next growth stock. (ETQ)

Legins - 02 Sep 2003 17:45

Could ETQ's share price be soon to benefit from their developments with the new UVGI Nightingale Mobile Air Filtration Product.

New UVGI air filtration product

In November 2002, the ETQ announced its new Nightingale UVGI air filtration product, to be produced by a new joint-venture company, UVGI Systems Limited, owned 55% by the Group and 45% by Suvair Limited. This rapid response mobile air filtration unit is capable of killing the MRSA super bug and other airborne pathogens.

The UVGI unit has widespread application where there is need to keep
air free of dangerous live bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores, including
hospitals, schools, cruise liners, aircraft, food processing, and military
applications.

The UVGI unit uses a high intensity Ultra Violet Germicidal Irradiation ('UVGI')
filter, which has been designed to control harmful and dangerous airborne
pathogens, such as Anthrax, Tuberculosis, and Staphylococcus aureus, the
causative agent in MRSA. The filtration system is combined with use of high
intensity Ultra Violet light, which inactivates micro organisms by disrupting
their DNA structure.

Tests of a prototype at the Defence Science Technology Laboratory ('Dstl') at
Porton Down, the centre for excellence for the Ministry of Defence, showed that
the UVGI unit captured and/or destroyed more than 99.9% of Bacillus subtilis
spores, a simulant for Anthrax bacteria.

Since November, second generation units have been developed, which will go on
applications testing at an NHS Trust Hospital in December 2003, following
building completion of its new haematology unit. It is also anticipated the
UVGI unit will shortly go on laboratory testing in the United States with
contractors nominated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Concern seems to be hotting up on the T.V. news that the MRSA super bug is still killing and disabling people visiting or as patients in NH Trust hospitals. It would be surprising if NH Trust hospital do not notice and Buy this product before they get to many expensive law suits for compensation claims.

Definitely a stock that could soon be heading north. Worth buying in but DYOR

Having been in the red in early trading we finished with a 2% gain today with the price closing at 6.75-7.25 pence. Some good buying reported today including about 6 block buys of 100,000 shares and 230,000 shares buy at 6.99 pence. Two trades for 300,000 shares appeared around 7.25 pence in the afternoon. I'm inclined to assume that both of those could be buys and not a rollover. I say this because the first 300,000 trade has an L next to it meaning it has been reported as a late trade. The second one hasn't. So if we apply logic to this then the first 300,000 trade was put through at a much earlier time hence then they can't be a rollover and both of the 300,000 trades are buys.

almost at a very critical level

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 08:47 - 268 of 497

Level 2 at 1 v 2...WINS on the bid price at 6.75 pence.

xmortal - 11 Aug 2004 09:18 - 269 of 497

Do we still need to look at the offer price, i'd like to top up here

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 09:23 - 270 of 497

Yes Xmortal I have re-iterated several times that with this stock one has to keep an eye on the offer price. On any small drops that have happened have immediately been erased with buyers accumalating more. The market makers have moved the bid price around this week but the offer price has stayed constant. What the offer price is at counts the most and is more important than the bid price.

Copied from investtech

"Shows a weak development within a falling trend channel. A further negative development is indicated, and there is resistance against the ceiling of the trend channel. The moving average indicator has, however, given a positive signal. In isolation this signals a continued rise, but the slowness of the indicator often means that one has lost much of the upside."

Don`t, for goodness sake, bet the house on this stock but it is nice for a flutter with money that you can afford to lose

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 09:37 - 272 of 497

Hi Snip, the first sentence of the Investtech Analysis was like that when I bought my first batch at 4.95 pence. That is not the only thing one needs to look at. Positive newsflow is coming from the company now which is more important.

Snip - 11 Aug 2004 10:07 - 273 of 497

like I said

It is very nice for a flutter

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 10:11 - 274 of 497

Jackie Pearse - 11 Aug 2004 10:48 - 276 of 497

Over the next 4-6 weeks I would expect this to move steadily north. Resistance could be met at 12p in mid Sept.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 11:42 - 277 of 497

Nice shake by the MMs, did this yesterday morning as well. 3 MMs sat on the 6.25 pence bid ready to gobble up stock on the cheap. As always keep an eye on the offer price...that gives a better indication.

Incidentally, Level 2 is at the strongest it can be now at 3 v 1, with just EVO on the offer at 7.00 pence.

As always with ETQ low volume days on falling prices and high volume days on rising prices strengthens the stock in the short term.

The MMs are shaking it hard today with EVO just lowering the offer to 6.75 pence.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 11:43 - 278 of 497

100,000 buy comes through at 6.60 pence.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 11:44 - 279 of 497

Level 2 at 2 v 1 now - MLSB on the offer - EVO in the middle 6p-7p

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 11:49 - 280 of 497

Another 100,000 buy comes through at 6.60 pence.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 12:07 - 281 of 497

Level 2 tick down and now at 1 v 1.

They still not getting much in sells hence the MMs are continuing to work in tandem. We saw these actions last thursday before the good news came on Friday.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 12:20 - 282 of 497

Another 100,000 buy comes through at 6.69 pence. Three 100K buys in the last 30 minutes. Bid price ticks up to 6.50 pence

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 12:26 - 283 of 497

Another 100,000 buy at 6.72 pence. Four 100K block buys in the last 30 minutes.

Buys having the upper hand again and buys are ahead of sells now :

Buys = 561,988
Sells = 439,000

50K buy comes through at 6.69 pence.

The offer price ticks back up to 7.00 pence. Price 6.50-7.00 pence. The treeshake by the market makers was too evident and atrracted just buyers.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 12:29 - 284 of 497

Level 2 still positive at 2 v 1.

SueHelen - 11 Aug 2004 12:59 - 285 of 497

Tick up on the bid price to 6.75 pence. 6.75-7.00 pence.
