Incidentally the chart comments are a load of ill-infomed bollocks.

Chart Breakouts are not considered breakouts until the SP either makes a new all time high (EOG's is about 39p) or penetrated what has proven to be stubborn resistance for many months, even years.

Oh, and the upper trend line is also incorrect, spookily enough, draw it right and it held today's rise.

Having said all that EOG is being ramped on every financial BB, mostly led by the same person, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the SP continue to rise.

A different chart perspective, from which can be seen the SP failed (for now) to break through the trendline resistance. 39p is the all time high, a point which the SP needs to break through to exclaim 'breakout!!!!!'

I wouldn't bet against it.

There are also inaccuracies in some of the posts trying to gain comfort from Aurelian activity. AUL have sold some of the areas in which they had a joint interest with EOG. In truth I don't know if AUL got a good deal or not, although the BoD seem happy. But from the small amount raised by selling on, I wouldn't put much value on EOG's interests unless oil or gas is found.

Edit: He seems to have trouble differntiating between 'leads' and finding the black stuff! In the case of AUL, I of course hope for the latter. EOG are but a mere bit player.

Excuse me, I was in this stock way before you and I do know whats going on. They raised a tiny amount of cash earlier yes, and they will now be looking at raising a rather larger wedge of cash given the good stock price run up and the WF9 result.

I will not be surprised at all to see a fund raising RNS before too long, its one thing EOG have never had, and thats a load of cash to really look forward to the future with.

Lets see who is right, I would say fund raising within 2 months now.

Proselens, your idea of 'fund raising' is total garbage. They raised cash on 24 December 2010 and it is enough to last through all the project work for the whole year.

The idea is to raise production in the UK this year. Get production going in Romania on oil and gas this year. Then they will never need to raise cash again.
