I would think president F of Puntland will perhaps want the lime light with the first announcement, then Horn. The first zone of the three could be hit any day now.
Depending how tight they keep the ship (without looking back I think the spud was the 17th Jan), so news sounds like about two weeks into April or before with leaks.

They are drilling to a maximum of 3800mtrs. Someone the other night said they could drill between 50mtrs and 75 mtrs a day. Of course this is if there are no problems.
The drill is drilling sandstone which is fairly soft. Also another poster that works on the rigs said his team drilled 100 - 125 mtrs a day. Also saying the crew were on bonuses
for getting the job done ahead of schedule. They are drilling day and night as well.
Range being in line for 20% of the poss 300 million barrel first drill.

Rumours flying about on the boards about an oil find in Puntland. Oil or not, should start to see some buying pressure on Monday. :-))

3M - but should there be a reasonable upward blip, will you have the sense to bank at least some of the profit?

Updates due from no less than all these companies on drilling :...perhaps this one RRL...and AEX,PVR,FPM,PTR,GKP (GENL), TRP......and Falklands exploring pushing ahead (BOR and FOGL).....any of these could go ballistic or several of them....or all of them but that's asking too much !....in all except PVR and TRP having already banked decent profits....(if you want exposure to Kurdistan via an Isa (GENL) is for you)...and AEX is isable as well as RRL.....

PL did state no updates until full TD Which should be 90 odd days from start. Depending on these rumours and the company get a large upturn in buying interest, may be forced to issue an RNS,otherwise the usual we cannot see any reason for the sudden buying upturn - I dont think so.

If they hit oil early...impossible to keep quiet.....

No snow here at all - been prepared and got lots of coal and slack in, had freezing temperatures plus fog this morning, been a beautiful afternoon. Started to freeze again now but haven't seen anything that measures 6" for quite some while, hence no snowmen - oh! sorry my wicked sense of humour. (2 gins and I'm off) do forgive me it is Sunday. Probably won't get any now that I am prepared for all eventualites. After last year and as the age creeps on I would like to see a little and that is about it, still a child at heart - the children around here are disappointed somewhat hope you have had fun.
