dreamcatcher - 05 Feb 2012 16:45 - 2707 of 5221

Have you been making snow men today 3monkies, have a good six inches here. Thats snow. :-))

3 monkies - 05 Feb 2012 17:09 - 2708 of 5221

No snow here at all - been prepared and got lots of coal and slack in, had freezing temperatures plus fog this morning, been a beautiful afternoon. Started to freeze again now but haven't seen anything that measures 6" for quite some while, hence no snowmen - oh! sorry my wicked sense of humour. (2 gins and I'm off) do forgive me it is Sunday. Probably won't get any now that I am prepared for all eventualites. After last year and as the age creeps on I would like to see a little and that is about it, still a child at heart - the children around here are disappointed somewhat hope you have had fun.

dreamcatcher - 05 Feb 2012 17:31 - 2709 of 5221

I did laugh I had to read your post twice, I see you are talking about the snow lol.
Thats allowed :-)) . Looks like the south east took the brunt of the snow. Whats slack
(is that a scottish word). The kids are not out around here, all sitting in the warm on the internet at a guess. I would never of been in as a youngster. Must admit throwing a few snowballs today lol. I bet I can guess your 2 gins are now 4 now lol. Look after yourself and roll on some good sp news.

3 monkies - 05 Feb 2012 17:49 - 2710 of 5221

Slack is:- coal particles which are minute, used in conjunction with coal to keep the fire burning longer - if one has an all night burning coal fire grate or multi fuel burner then when used will keep the fire going for hours, half the price of actual coal excellent stuff if bought from a decent coal man who provides excellent coal. Correct DC my 2 has just got to 4 and now Dinner Time and await the next weeks either laughter or the reverse. Children should be out enjoying, I know my three great nephews have been getting up in the middle of the night to see if we have had snow (must admit) I have done similar. Better times ahead hopefully monetary wise that is. Hope nobody tries to elaborate on my explanation of slack!!!!! Good Luck

dreamcatcher - 05 Feb 2012 18:05 - 2711 of 5221

Thanks 3 monkies, Scotland has not heard of gas then. :-))

3 monkies - 05 Feb 2012 19:53 - 2712 of 5221

As I live in the North West of England and do have a gas supply and was taught never to look up a Scotts Mans Kilt I cannot help you. Back to the drawing board tomorrow.
Good Night.

dreamcatcher - 07 Feb 2012 16:05 - 2713 of 5221

Being kept in a very tight trading band. Just starts to rise and down she comes. :-))
or manipulation, just look at the chart.

tyketto - 07 Feb 2012 23:53 - 2714 of 5221

Looks like two trading robots are the only contenders.

dreamcatcher - 08 Feb 2012 13:59 - 2715 of 5221

Looks like Range has been let off the lead. :-))

dreamcatcher - 08 Feb 2012 14:59 - 2716 of 5221

The talk and I do stress Talk is a 400mtr column of oil in the first 1200 mtrs drilled.
All talk and I await the company annoucement. I think this is down to the sudden rise after dinner. This could result in 5b recoverable.

required field - 08 Feb 2012 15:28 - 2717 of 5221

If anything of that nature is discovered : RRL would be above 50p and RMP 100p....it would be as stunning as GKP.....

dreamcatcher - 08 Feb 2012 15:42 - 2718 of 5221

Agree rf, Just put it on here so investors could see, as I say perhaps why the sudden
rush. Again some have put it down to the euro situation settling. I have heard all working on the rig have had mobile phones etc confiscated BUT it only takes one for a leak. Like I say take it with a pinch of salt until an official announcement.

dreamcatcher - 08 Feb 2012 22:26 - 2719 of 5221

Thanks to NISZCZU on ii

First of all there is a difference between oil column and net payzone:

"Oil/Gas Column: In a well, a continuous vertical section of rocks
saturated with oil and/or natural gas,
comprising both reservoir and non-reservoir rocks. "

"Net pay: Part of the oil column, comprising only the interval or the
sum of intervals of reservoir rocks
saturated by oil and/or gas. It is defined by criteria such as
porosity, permeability and minimum hydrocarbon
saturation. "

Probably 400m from RUM refers to oil column which is in line with thickness of expected JESOMMA interval.
Other rumours gives 55m net pay which is 165 feets - only slightly above high end of HORN CPR estimations.

Excellent result!

ptholden - 08 Feb 2012 22:37 - 2720 of 5221

Result??

Whilst it may be proven to be true, RRL leaks like a sieve, it's just a rumour.

But ramp away, I took a position the day I asked you when TD was expected.

dreamcatcher - 08 Feb 2012 22:41 - 2721 of 5221

Evening ptholden, The sp did suddenly take off this aft. Good to see you in here.
No doubt there will be more rumours as we proceed.

dreamcatcher - 09 Feb 2012 06:21 - 2722 of 5221

RRL up on the ASX up 6.45% - $0.165 = 11.26 pence

dreamcatcher - 09 Feb 2012 11:40 - 2723 of 5221

Good to see this share correcting and rising to the value it should be.

dreamcatcher - 09 Feb 2012 19:32 - 2725 of 5221

Edit 2723 - true at that time, sp ended flat.

dreamcatcher - 12 Feb 2012 07:38 - 2726 of 5221

Today is 27 days from the day the Shabeel -1 well in the Dharoor block in Somalia Puntland was spudded.
The Namak hvani well /Kursebi 6 prospect is due early to mid Feb, with a target depth of 3500 mtrs. Should be news next week.
We are waiting for a lot of news and I think this will be released to drive the sp upwards into the higher teens + in my view for a drawdown for a purchase in Colombia.
Range holds a 5% holding of the shares in Tangiers petroleum and do not think we have heard the last here yet.
