Todays rns has the same ring to it as the previous ones before the final duster one..

The only thing that can redeem BK's reputation to any degree would be IF they hit commercial quantities of oil.

The market doe'snt want to hear anymore of BK's lying!!!..

markymar - 17 Jun 2013 12:43 - 272 of 299

A disaster ....no partner , crap chance of hitting oil if they ever go drilling "With the probability of geologic success currently estimated at 1 in 8 by our competent person"

markymar - 24 Jul 2013 14:02 - 273 of 299

Up 22% today

The spread is 20% and daft PI are buying in..... crazy

Its a dog without a bone

yuff - 26 Jul 2013 15:07 - 274 of 299

Maybe but the bone is covered intasty marrow enabling nice 20% plus short term profits.

2517GEORGE - 20 Aug 2013 09:29 - 275 of 299

blueface - 20 Aug 2013 11:38 - 276 of 299

Apparently Ernst & Young have cited NEW as a take-over target!-there is a very large buyer in the market and cannot get stock so I was told by a stockbroker friend of mine- also very positive news expected soon on the farm out negotiations ref:- their Danish acreage & also their Belize acreage too!

2517GEORGE - 20 Aug 2013 13:43 - 277 of 299

Thanks for that blueface, sp settled off it's earlier high @ 1.02p but quite active over recent days, so possible good news soon. How many times have we heard that about companies?

2517GEORGE - 21 Aug 2013 10:33 - 278 of 299

Well that large buyer won't have any problems getting hold of stock now. Nearly 2.2b new shares created @ 0.735p per share. My last sentence rider above was spot on.

michaeljlambert - 24 Sep 2013 18:23 - 281 of 299

Here we go again. back up to 10p+. Better today and an 18% rise

michaeljlambert - 26 Sep 2013 21:14 - 282 of 299

up 15% today, as I said back up to 10p.

markymar - 27 Sep 2013 10:10 - 283 of 299

Its a dog....the spread was 12% yesterday

This share has a market cap of 33 million its only assets are a few fields which they hope to drill at some point and only have a 1 and 8 chance of success also will need to raise more money to drill them.
Better value elsewhere....look at Desire petroleum with a market cap of 43 million sitting on 85 million barrels of recoverable oil.......proven oil not fresh air like these lot.

It’s a dog without a bone and a huge sell

2517GEORGE - 27 Sep 2013 11:45 - 284 of 299

Hi markymar------With both NEW (sp 13.25p last year) and DES (sp 170p 3 years ago) falling off a cliff in recent years it may be of interest to compare their sp movements. NEW were 1.13p and DES 12.88p when you posted. DES are obviously experiencing difficulty monitising their resource. So maybe the 'dog' will get it's bone before DES.

New World Oil & Gas (LON:NEW) has still not received the funds needed to complete the funding deal with Niel Petroleum, it revealed in a statement after the market closed.

New World said in a statement: “Notwithstanding the continuing delay in the receipt of funds, the board believes that the subscriber fully intends to complete the investment in the company and consequently is continuing to work with Niel to finalise the necessary steps to resolve matters.”

On September 12, New World shareholders voted in favour of the proposed funding at the group’s annual general meeting.

New cornerstone investor Niel Petroleum will be issued new shares priced at 0.735p each to raise US$25mln for New World.

A further US$25mln of debt will also be made available to the company. Niel Petroleum will own 75.66% of New World following the deal.

michaeljlambert - 12 Oct 2013 19:17 - 286 of 299

markymar - 18 Oct 2013 11:04 - 288 of 299

Only one way this is going, Still no news on funding

Last one out turn the light off if the electric is still turned on

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=NEW&Si

yuff - 28 Oct 2013 16:45 - 289 of 299

Never mind turn the lights off this will explode once Niel Pet confirmation received.
Looking at an easy 3 to4 p near term.

Gone on too long for Niel to have pulled out-we would have known by now if the deal was dead.

These deals take time and time is what we have.

NEW has a buy written all over it and those who are too blind to see the obvious do not deserve to be on this massive potential wise gravy train

markymar - 29 Oct 2013 15:20 - 290 of 299

Yuff you need to go to spec savers, just look at the graph.

Even if a deal is done you will only owe 25% of New World and Gas, it has no gas it has no oil and has no money and what prospects they do have only have a 8 to 1 chance of finding oil which is poor for the oil industry.

Down another 10% today
